Meet Brannan Bell & Sabah Khan | Podcast Hosts | Content Creators

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brannan Bell & Sabah Khan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brannan Bell & Sabah Khan, what do you attribute your success to?
Team work, communication and consistency. That’s 3 things we are super over the top on because that’s what all good relationships require to thrive! We’ve been best friends for over 20+ years so we know one another inside and out, but that doesn’t mean we dont have disagreements, although not very often, we have a great feedback and communication system to be able to navigate through that!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Our platform is a safe place to share your story. It’s built from an organic foundation! On our podcast, we have the opportunity to interview people in the cannabis industry, medical marijuana patients, up and coming brands making waves, established brands doing cool things, and most importantly, we like to focus on the education aspect that surrounds this plant. That’s what it all starts with. We’re real people, relatable and personable and we think people really value that because they can connect, be vulnerable, shift perspectives and really open up with us!
Was it easy? Nah. The dream of the podcast is for free, but the hustle behind it is sold separately! We’re proud of the authenticity our podcast comes with. Everything has happened so fast and natural. We haven’t rushed anything, and we’ve just been taking it in as it comes. We’re big believers in living in the moment and trusting the proccess, because it always takes care of us and nourishes what’s for our highest good, and our community’s too.
We’ve learned a lot of patience and grace. Good things take time and you have to hustle for what you want. But the hustle doesn’t have to be a chore. If it’s your passion and you pour from a full cup of passion and excitement, things naturally start happening as they should. We’ve learned to never rush the process, but trust it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oklahoma can be very underrated and has just really been put on the map! We are definitely still a growing state, but we have a couple staple spots we LOVE! Lets start with food because a chunk of our relationship is based around what we should eat. Our go-to always is the Mexican taco truck! They’re dispersed throughout the city, but the one we go to on Hefner off broadway extension is amazing and the best damn carne asade we’ve ever had! Follow this up with Tamashii Ramen….MAN! This has been a new discovery for us and we love it. Between the flavors and the cool atmosphere, its a great place to go every time! Chick and Pickle is a cool newer spot that’s come to OKC and its super family friendly! They have food, a great atmosphere and the most important – Pickle Ball! People will hang for hours there because its a great time for all ages!
We definitely are BIG outdoors people so camping would be a must. Broken Bow / Hochatown is a great place to go explore, hike, camp, fish and do a lot of ourdoorsy things. We’ve been out there a few times and have stayed in a cabin and gone horseback riding, which was so much fun! It feels like you’re out of Oklahoma when you go down to those parts. We love it there. We are pretty easy going girls, but we love our state and the great things it has to offer!
We love the local scene and love to support it so we often find ourselves at the Farmers Market on saturday mornings as well! There’s vendors from all parts of the state that come and bring their goods to sell. It’s such a cool community environment and we love to submerse ourselves into it!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Everyone that’s helped us throughout this journey and has believed in us, from the guy that made our jingle and our sound guy, to the friends who donated their mics to us, of course and EVERY SINGLE LISTENER that has given our podcast a chance! We really wouldn’t be here without the support of our community, specifically the cannabis community not just locally, but around the world!
