Meet Briana Pisani | Licensed Esthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Briana Pisani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Briana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After surviving breast cancer and learning to love my own body again, I wanted to create a space where self-care feels affordable, accessible, and real – not some bougie, out-of-reach luxury. At Haus of Bri, you can show up exactly as you are and leave feeling confident, glowing, and fully yourself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career in esthetics didn’t come from a love of fancy spas or an obsession with skincare trends, it came from survival. After beating breast cancer and learning to love my body again, I wanted to create a space where self-care is affordable, accessible, and real – a space that’s for everyone, not just those who can drop $$$ at luxury spas.
What sets me apart? I keep it real. I don’t believe self-care should feel intimidating or out of reach. At Haus of Bri, clients show up as they are: scars, hair, insecurities, all of it—and leave feeling confident, cared for, and celebrated. I’m proud that people tell me my space feels like a judgment-free zone where they can breathe and actually relax.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I built Haus of Bri while healing from a double mastectomy, battling body dysmorphia, and figuring out how to run a business without a big savings cushion. I overcame it by leaning on my support system, staying flexible, and reminding myself that progress > perfection.
Lessons? Don’t wait for perfect. Just start. People connect with realness way more than a flawless Instagram feed. And also, take care of yourself as much as you take care of others (still working on that one!).
What do I want the world to know? Haus of Bri is more than skincare and waxing, t’s a space where every body is welcome, every budget is considered, and every client is valued.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my bestie came to town, we’re doing it right. Day one starts with coffee & biscuits at Rise & Shine (because jet lag is real).. We’ll hit Santa Fe for art and strolling, then rooftop dinner at The Woods because views taste better with cocktails. Another day? A Red Rocks hike for the “I did a mountain climb” selfie, then a glow-up stop at Haus of Bri—because why vacation without a little self-care flex? We’d sprinkle in Union Station, a live show at Mission Ballroom, and end the week with Little Man Ice Cream before crying at the airport. Denver’s chill, creative, and just the right amount of bougie: aka perfect bestie getaway vibes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! I wouldn’t be here without my support system. First, my husband, who’s been my rock through every wild idea and late-night planning session. My family and friends who hyped me up when I went from cancer patient to licensed esthetician.. Y’all reminded me that my scars don’t define me, my hustle does.
And of course, every mentor, teacher, and client who trusted me when I was still figuring things out (and even tipped me for those free facials!). You all gave me the courage to build Haus of Bri into a space for affordable, accessible, and real self-care. This journey was never just mine, it’s ours.
