Meet Brianna Amigo | Founder & Lead Designer of Brianna Michele Interiors

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Amigo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brianna, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I started my business in 2019 as a side hustle alongside by 9-5 corporate marketing job. No way did I think I would ever be able to step away from my corporate job and go all in on my business but just this past March, I took that risk and went for it. Taking risks are the reason why I am where I am today. I’m doing what I love and yes, hustling and working more than I ever have but it’s so much more rewarding when you’re working for yourself and directly helping others in return. Taking a risk is something we all owe to ourselves. See the opportunity through and if it doesn’t work out, that’s okay. You’ll aways walk away learning something and in my mind thats far more valuable than just letting an opportunity pass you by.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Brianna Michele Interiors is a virtual interior design studio focused on short-term rental property design. Our goal is to help increase our client’s bookings and revenue potential by creating beautiful, thoughtful designs that provide a one-of-a-kind experience for their guests. I’m super proud of our small team and how we’ve helped hundreds of real estate investors all around the US reach their own business goals through beautifully curated designs.
Being an entrepreneur is extremely difficult and I still am learning to work through the challenges that come with running a small business. However, I’d say what has helped me in my business is being 100% genuine and leading with integrity whether thats with members of our team, business partners we work with but most importantly with our clients. If you stay true to the root of why you started this business and what your objective is, that foundation will help you overcome challenges and realize what’s important and what’s not.
What I want people to take away from our brand is that we’re beyond just interior design and styling and we’re hyper focused on the guest experience. We want to help our clients create the best experience they can for their guests, an experience where no detail is spared. Design is critical to creating that experience and is one of the most important aspects to being successful as a short-term rental investor.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m from Southern CA and live a few miles north of Los Angeles so the opportunities are endless. Since its a week long trip, I’d take her to Malibu for a fun little beach day. We’d hit up our favorite seafood spot, Malibu Seafood for lunch. For the rest of the days, I’d imagine it would a week long trip filled with self-care (facials, massages, manis and pedis), hiking, stopping by all of our favorite coffee shops in LA, and eating, lots of eating. Sushi, soup dumplings, tacos, Italian, I could go on and on but that’s how I’d imagine we’d spend our week together!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to shoutout my husband, JC. He’s been my #1 supporter in everything I do but especially Brianna Michele Interiors. I don’t look at this as “my” business but “ours”. He is 100% working behind the scenes everyday and I couldn’t be more appreciative for his constant love and support that he pours into not only me but our business. Because of his support and encouragement, I get to do what I love every single day. He’s the real MVP!
