We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I wanted to improve the world. I also wanted brown skin of all shades to be able to get the skin care the need and want. Something I learned about the beauty community is that so little is made for brown and black skin, and I want to help improve that. I also really wanted to help people in general with their skin. You only get 1 life and 1 body. People constant go to the doctor when something happens or if they need to check on something or get something maintained. Skin should be treated the same, it’s what everyone sees first and it’s what you see every day of every hour. I want to help people who have had hardships in life who might have thought their skin was never a priority or maybe what they see in the mirror isn’t what they want to see. I want to help them get to that point, I want them to live their skin, their body! I want them to achieve the self love everyone deserves. Their happiness becomes my happiness. That’s all that matters to me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My future dream is to be apart of the healing process for multiple groups. I want to help the healing process for cancer patients. They have given so much to continue to live and they deserve the love and care that they deserve. They deserve to have someone on their corner to help build them back up, and help them be ever better than their best. I want to help people who have had mental health issues. Knowing this through personal experience, taking Care of yourself is difficult during a time need. Giving people a simple skincare routine can help change their attitude, their mood along with their physical and mental well-being. The biggest group that I would like to cater to is minorities. Whether it’s people with brown or black skin, sensitive skin or the LGBTQ community any minority would be welcome in my place of work. So many places still don’t know how to help minorities with Skincare whether it’s due to, their Fitzpatrick scale or their own beliefs. Everyone deserves a place where they can feel safe and know that they are listen to and their skin is being treated properly.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Lucky for me my best friend still lives in state! But when me and her get together, we always like to go to either Golden Fort Collins or Estes Park. The small older towns always have a very kind nature. You can just walk for hours and you’ll always find something new or something very interesting to do. No matter how many times we go to those places we still find something new to talk about something new to look at and possibly something new to bring home. It’s also just fun to walk around and notice the culture in the architecture around there. These three places have such different cultures and buildings. You can see the history everywhere you look.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my friends and family for pushing me to reach my dreams and goals. I also want to thank the people who tried to stop me, who tried to tell me it would never happen. Both of these groups have pushed me to become more ambitious and more grateful for the life I live and the gifts I have to share.
