We had the good fortune of connecting with Chiniqua & Stanisha Jackson & Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chiniqua & Stanisha, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would say the families that join our organization the parents trusting us with their children to mold and teach them and being that 2nd parent who cares and teachesthem values for their future. The kids excited and grateful to be part of our organization and looking up to us as role models, a 2nd mom and 2nd family.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our organization is a dance and mentorship program. We specialize in hip-hop and majorette we also do step and cheer. I am most proud of finally being able to bless our kids with a studio of their own. We got to this point with a lot of hard work, dedication, support from people who wanted to see us succeed and the amazing parents and children that believed in our organization and trusted us. It definitely was not easy it takes a toll on you there are some good times and bad times and sometimes the bad almost broke us. We kept our faith and kept pushing to our goal, we never gave up and had great people cheering us on. We learned a lot of things along the way a few were; You can’t please everyone, never give up, keep following your dreams, keep your faith and avoid any and all negativity. That anything is possible dreams do come true. Our group is a big family and we want to touch as many people as possible with our amazing talent and positivity give them a little sparkle of joy if only for a few minutes. We want all the young kids out there to know you belong don’t ever feel like you don’t. Find that thing that makes you happy and be the best at it as you can be and never give up their will be obstacles just keep your faith and motivation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Let’s see I would say pre Covid I would’ve took them to a comedy show at The Denver Improv. Go dine at everyone’s favorite Texas Roadhouse, or some of my favorite restaurants Bubbas 33, Applebees, Pappadeauxs, Welton St. Cafe, The Cheesecake Factory, Flaming Joe’s, The Juicy Seafood, BD’s Mongolian Grill, Senor Rics or Sam’s No 3. Maybe go bowling have a game night. Check out the Museum of Nature and Science, Gaylord OF The Rockies, Take them downtown and see the sites down there. A little drinks and fun at Dave N Busters. There’s so many things to check out at any given time.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We definitely have to shout out all of the parents we have had over the years that entrusted us with their kids and helped build the organization especially those parents that have went above and beyond what we have asked of them to help us succeed. Without our parents we would not exist they are the glue that holds the organization together. We want to shout out all of the sponsors and supporters personal and business we have had over the last 10 years that have helped us with everything from donations of time, money and supplies, practice space, fundraising space, snacks/food, encouraging words and guidance, and just showing us genuine love, support and appreciation.
