We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Capitelli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, what inspires you?
I am most inspired by the all the beautiful people in my life. That is my greatest source of inspiration for sure. My amazing clients that show up so fully and vulnerably, that inspires me to serve them at the absolute highest level possible. My incredible family, they have loved and supported me through every step of my career and life and without them I don’t even know where I would be. And I have an unbelievable circle of friends that I’ve met throughout my life, and when I stand back and consider this eclectic, talented and caring group I feel very good about the choices I’ve made and the people and things I’ve invested in.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think what I’d like people to know about my work and practice is my deep sense of service. It is why I started in the healing arts and continues to be my main motivation. Serving my community and fellow man has always felt deeply connected to my purpose. This desire to serve has helped me surmount many challenges as it connects me to something much larger than myself. I am profoundly grateful for this work and that I get to spend my days with beautiful people in a very sacred manner.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have many friends come through town because we live in such a beautiful place! Some favorites that I try and share are hikes at Brainard Lake or Nederland, meals at Work & Class in Rino or Oak in Boulder, the botanic garden in Denver, a show at the Boulder theater, some exercise and sauna at the Louisville Rec Center, and game night at Punchbowl Social in Denver. Also love Tonic, The Dushanbe Tea House and Mountain Sun in Boulder.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without a doubt it is my Mom! She has been and continues to be my biggest inspiration and support. My mother has always had a deep sense of service, and I know I inherited this from her. She was always involved in helping at her church and had served at a community soup kitchen for over 20 years. She taught me from a very early age that life is about what we can give, not what we can get. And she has always, always, supported and encouraged me in my healing study and practice.. Both my parents (my Dad passed in 2007) always supported me in the whatever I wanted to do, and for that I am eternally grateful. It allowed me to choose a path that was different from everyone in my family and all of my friends. My parents’ love and support made that possible. My mom is my hero and I dedicate my Shoutout to her!
