Meet Connor Andrews | Premium Automotive Detailer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Connor Andrews and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Connor, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Over the past year or so, it’s certainly became more 50/50. In the beginning, though, it was nearly 100% work. Sun up to sun down I was working and trying to do what I can to grow. I spoke to very little people and that allowed me to focus greatly on the task at hand. Now I have developed my foundation and can relax a little bit and begin to enjoy what I’ve started to build. I am no where near finished, though, there is always something to learn and apply.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Frankly, there wasn’t a lot of thought put behind it. The idea stemmed from an assignment I had in high school. We were given the task of creating a website about a small business we owned. My friend, and now partner, Bryson questioned if we should do it for real. After the website was finished, that’s exactly what we did. All of it came from a whim when we were 17 years old. Neither one of us thought it would take us this far, but here we are and we are committed to it. After a few months and realizing where this could take us is when we really began to dig-in and start trying to build a business rather than a “high-school job”, so to speak. I had to take the time to step-back and re-evaluate my approach to how I’m handling everything. I made some necessary changes, and although it was strange and challenging for a bit, it really pushed the business to the next level. I believe I’ve developed a solid foundation and am now going to build on-top of it and really make something that I am proud of.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Park City is definitely a must. Depending on the time of year there’s a variety of different things to do — at least two day’s worth. Another must is a cruise up to Snowbird and get some lunch up there. It’s an incredibly beautiful drive no matter the time of year. Visit Salt Lake for a day and probably watch the symphony if they’re playing. If they’re up for a drive, I enjoy visiting the Salt Flats at least once a year. Especially if SpeedWeek is going on. That alone is worth a week-long trip out here.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are too many people to list. Everyone that I have around in my life has played a small role in some way. If you’re reading this, and we know each other, then this goes out to you.
