We had the good fortune of connecting with Cori Jo Swanson & Josh Assor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cori & Josh, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We always knew we wanted to grow a company together. During the pandemic we threw around a lot of different ideas but kept circling back to an entertainment company that specializes in live events. We are both creatives with a variety of experiences and we want to showcase a high taste level of live entertainment!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
With over 30 years of combined experience, Cori and Josh are not only groundbreaking visionaries, but also, noteworthy leaders in the entertainment space. Together, their expertise spans across every facet of the entertainment industry including creative direction, choreography, casting, development, and performance. Their lifelong passion for creating an unmatched caliber of art led them to conceive Creative Streak Entertainment — a one of a kind experience that executes your innovative vision flawlessly from start to finish, and guaranteed to leave your audience captivated.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The list is endless! We collaborate a lot with night life culture and consistently support the hospitality industry. Our office is in Brooklyn and we have TONS of favorites such as: Frankies 457 Spuntino, Leyenda, The HiHi Room, Clover Club, Rule of Thirds, Diamond Lil, Five Leaves, Oxomoco, to name a few. When we venture into Manhattan for events and promo shoots we find ourselves at Hawksmoor, Raines Law Room, Dante, Please Don’t Tell, Angel Share, Death & Co., Cervo’s, and Ernesto’s…again to name a few.
