We had the good fortune of connecting with Craig Dominguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Craig, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Sitting at an airport and noticed a Tequila bar with an easy fast convenient menu for both the restaurant and customer.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I got to this point in my career by low key paying attention on what to do as well as what not to do in the restaurant/bar business. It was very difficult. I’ve learned that you cannot manage people all the same way. I want people to know that I do this because i love the restaurant industry and not the money.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to the downtown area to show them how my city has grown. Cork and Cask for drinks and great service. Bonny and Read for delicious food and Shrunken Head for different fun atmosphere.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My partner Joe Campana and wife Jacy Olmos for pushing me to take on this venture.
