We had the good fortune of connecting with Cricket Fuecker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cricket, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I grew up in Central Minnesota. My Dad worked for the same company for over 36 years and always showed-up to work, his sports, and to his family. My Mom stayed at home and watched neighborhood children and had part-time evening jobs while we were young and then worked at my high school. Afterward, she then worked full time in her career. My parents work ethic definitely ruined of on me.
 

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In 2010, I retired from 17 years as a Counselor and Social Worker in Child Protection/ JuvenileJustice. I still felt I wanted to help.people, and impact lives, though I now do so in a different way. I am a Coach and Personal Trainer at Official Fitness Windsor, and a Fitness instructor at The Windsor Recreation Center and The W Club. All in Windsor,CO.
I also am a Licensed Esthetician and am the Owner/ Operator of my own small business also located in Windsor. I love performing all corrective procedures and am adding more medical services to better serve my clients and help eveyone feel their beautyinside and out..
I sometimes joke that I have 5 jobs.
Apparently I really don’t know what retirement is yet!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had someone from out of to2n visit we would definitely get in an early morning workout at Official Fitness Windsor.; every day I like to take visitors to Devils Backbone for a hike and go to Estes Park for the scenery and wild life. Most people aren’t used to Elk walking down Main Street!
Thursday Summer Concert Series is always a must. It’s pretty cool how many people you can bump into and the bands are pretty good too. It never gets old watching the sun set behind the mountains sitting lake side.
I love afternoons on the lake across from our house paddle boarding, then golf carting over to Sol de Jalisco to grab some tacos, and hit The Sand Bar for some Friday evening live entertainment.
If the Eagles, .Hailstorm, or Owlz are in town, taking in a game is always fun too.
There’s just a lot of nice things at our fingertips here in our community.
