We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristina Ruiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cristina, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?

I believe the most important thing I’ve done as a parent is teaching my children the value of respect and honesty. Beyond providing for their material needs, I’ve always wanted them to understand the importance of being people of integrity ,respecting themselves and others, and facing life with sincerity and responsibility. This foundation of values is what truly impacts their lives and prepares them for whatever challenges come their way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is truly an extension of who I am a blend of creativity, passion, and family. It all started eight years ago with just a suitcase full of dreams and a deep desire to be present for my children. I wasn’t comfortable leaving them with a babysitter, so I decided to build a business that would allow me to work while having my kids close.

The heart of my brand is reflected in its logo: 3 Little Birds + 1. Originally, the logo represented my three children through three little birds. When my youngest daughter was born, I wanted to honor all four of my kids, who are my biggest inspiration. The “plus one” symbolizes her addition to our family and to everything I create.

I specialize in custom floral arrangements where every design is unique and personalized to each client’s wishes, whether it’s the colors, style, or details much like how every creation from start to end is one of a kind. Alongside this, I coordinate events, run an online makeup sales business, and offer equipment rentals for events, including bouncy castles., decoration, chairs , tables , etc.

What truly sets my business apart is the heart and care I put into every project and service. Each floral arrangement, makeup product, or rental item is done with attention and love, ensuring my clients have joyful and memorable experiences.

Balancing being a mom, model, and entrepreneur has been a beautiful challenge. My family is my greatest motivation, they remind me why I started and why it’s worth every effort.

The journey hasn’t been easy. I faced doubts, learned to manage time, and worked hard to build trust with my clients online. Those challenges taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of staying true to my vision.

Behind my brand is a real person who cares deeply about what she creates and offers. This isn’t just a business; it’s my way of sharing joy, creativity, and confidence with the world. I’m excited for what lies ahead and grateful for every step of the journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

I want to dedicate my shoutout to my family, especially my children’s who inspire me every day to be better and keep pushing forward. Their love and support have been my greatest motivation through all the challenges.

I’m also deeply grateful to the mentors and friends who have believed in me and encouraged my creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
