We had the good fortune of connecting with dorsey beckman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi dorsey, what makes you happy? Why?
Helping my friends, family and community realize their own healing potential and spirituality. The mountains, rivers, moon and ocean make me feel at home and my kids teach me to let go, have fun and enjoy life for what it is.
What should our readers know about your business?
RiverRoot Essentials gives moms the tools to heal at home, dive deeper into her spirituality, and deliver gratitude and loving encouragement. Self-development and love has gotten me, as the owner and mom, to where I am today. No, it has not been easy, but definitely necessary and deeply gratifying. Being a mom is a tough job and requires healing and self-love. I am here to tell you it IS possible, you ARE capable, and WE belong together. RiverRoot Essentials is passionate about supporting every mom’s growth journey, one baby step at a time. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Wake up at sunrise for a back porch meditation session. Hike up North Table Mountain from the house. Go downtown for lunch and enjoy a burrito from El Callejon. Rest and dip our feet in Clear Creek. Indulge in a happy hour wine slushie from Barrels and Bottles. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout goes to Michelle Johnson with Healing Attitudes Chiropratic who has eased and graced me with deep healing and spiritual teachings to show up a little bit lighter and a lot happier. My husband also deserves credit and recognition in my story, as he is my rock and forever river buddy.
