We had the good fortune of connecting with Elise Hatsuko and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elise, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My blog has a broad mission to enrich the lives of people across the world. With readers spanning over 65 nations, the impact we create is truly global. We focus on three primary areas: wellness, education, and art.

In terms of wellness, we provide resources, advice, and guidance to inspire healthier lifestyles. We share content on everything from mental health to physical fitness and nutrition. This aims to help our readers develop better self-care habits and understand the importance of maintaining both physical and mental well-being. By doing so, we hope to bolster preventative efforts to reduce the burden of disease and contribute to healthier, happier communities.

Education is also a critical part of our mission. We believe that an educated society is key to solving many global challenges. We share posts that promote learning, curiosity, and critical thinking. We also bring attention to exciting educational initiatives and challenges, aiming to foster global awareness among our readers. We believe that this knowledge and awareness can empower individuals to make a positive change in their own communities and the world at large.

Lastly, we believe that art is a universal language that brings people together, and we promote it in all its forms. We showcase artists from different cultures and countries, highlight global art events, and even share tutorials and resources for those interested in expanding their own artistic skills. We see art as a tool for cultural exchange, empathy, and understanding, breaking down borders and building bridges between different people and societies.

The impact of our blog goes beyond just sharing information. We strive to cultivate a community of engaged, thoughtful, and caring individuals. Our readers don’t just consume our content—they interact with it, with us, and with each other, leading to rich discussions, shared learning, and collective growth. Our work helps to foster understanding and unity among people from different walks of life, and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a Christian lifestyle blogger, my business operates at the intersection of faith, wellness, education, and art. What sets us apart is our commitment to promoting a lovely lifestyle through the lens of Christian values. We are unique in our focus on both the internal and external aspects of well-being, emphasizing the importance of spiritual health alongside physical and mental wellness.

I’m extremely proud of the global community we’ve been able to create. With readership spanning over 65 nations, it’s gratifying to know that our message resonates with so many different cultures and societies. Every day, I’m excited by the rich diversity of experiences, perspectives, and ideas shared by our community.

The journey to where we are today has been full of learning experiences. It wasn’t always smooth sailing; building a blog from scratch required learning many new skills, from web design to SEO. There were also moments of self-doubt and questions about the direction we were heading. But with every challenge came an opportunity for growth. My faith and the supportive community we’ve fostered played a significant role in overcoming these challenges.

One important lesson I’ve learned is the importance of authenticity. Being open, genuine, and transparent with our community has strengthened the bond with our readers. I’ve also learned that it’s vital to keep evolving, adapting, and learning as the digital landscape changes. Finally, I’ve understood that success in this industry is about more than numbers… It’s about making a real, positive impact on the lives of our readers.

As for our brand story, I want the world to know that we’re about more than just self-improvement. We’re a platform that advocates for a holistic approach to wellness, one that integrates physical, mental, and spiritual health. We’re committed to promoting understanding and respect for diverse cultures and perspectives, fostering a community that transcends borders and celebrates our shared humanity. Through this journey, we strive to live out our Christian values and encourage others to do the same, cultivating a lifestyle of compassion, understanding, and mutual growth. Our story is one of faith, community, and positive impact, and we warmly invite everyone to join us on this journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Welcome to Denver! A city known for its stunning outdoors, vibrant arts scene, and historic landmarks. If my best friend was visiting for a week (or if I was visiting her), here’s the itinerary I would suggest:

**Day 1:**
We’d kick off our trip at Queen City Coffee, a local favorite loved for its exceptional brews and comfortable atmosphere. This is a great place to start our day and take in the local scene. After our coffee, we would delve into the fascinating exhibits at the Denver Nature and Science Center, a unique spot that makes learning fun and engaging.

**Day 2:**
On the second day, we’d explore Denver’s vibrant arts scene. We’d start at the Denver Art Museum, taking our time to explore its rich collection and enjoy lunch at the museum’s Cafe Gio. In the afternoon, we’d visit the Clyfford Still Museum, housing impressive works of this influential abstract expressionist. The day would wind down with a walk down Santa Fe Row, a lively district filled with art galleries and unique local eateries.

**Day 3:**
We’d dedicate the third day to exploring Highlands Ranch, beginning with a visit to the Highlands Ranch Museum, a local gem that offers insights into the region’s history. After a day of exploration, we would enjoy a wonderful dinner at Seasons 52, known for its fresh and seasonal menu.

**Day 4:**
On day four, we’d head out to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We’d take in the breathtaking scenery, do some light hiking, and stop in Grand Lake for a creekside lunch at the Grand Rapids Lodge. After lunch, we’d spend the afternoon exploring the charming shops in Grand Lake.

**Day 5:**
Day five would be more relaxed. We’d start with a visit to the Women’s History Center. Afterward, we’d enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the 16th Street Mall, a bustling pedestrian area with shops, restaurants, and vibrant street performances.

**Day 6:**
We’d dedicate day six to shopping. Our first stop would be Cherry Creek, an outdoor shopping district known for its stylish boutiques, unique furniture stores, and delectable restaurants. We would then head over to the local mall, where we could enjoy the beautiful showroom at Restoration Hardware.

**Day 7:**
Our final day would be spent at Union Station, a historic and vibrant hub of the city. We’d explore the boutiques and enjoy the lively atmosphere of this iconic location. To round off the trip on a high note, we’d treat ourselves to a happy hour at STK, a modern steakhouse with a vibrant lounge atmosphere.

This itinerary would ensure a memorable week, blending Denver’s rich cultural offerings, stunning natural beauty, and vibrant culinary and shopping scene. It’s a journey that captures the essence of Denver and leaves you with lasting memories of a truly unique city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Certainly, I would first need to shoutout to Jesus Christ – my Lord & Savior – for saving me, gifting me with eternal life, and empowering me to do all things. There are countless individuals, organizations, and experiences that have influenced my journey, but if I had to dedicate a shoutout, it would undoubtedly go to my parents. They instilled in me a love for learning, a deep-rooted belief in the power of kindness, and an unwavering faith that guides me every day. Their selfless love, wisdom, and encouragement have been my guiding light and continue to inspire my work.

In addition to my family, I’d also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude towards my loyal and dynamic community of readers and followers. Their continuous engagement, feedback, and support fuel my passion for this platform. They are a constant reminder of why I began this journey, and their individual stories of growth and empowerment are the true measure of our success.

Finally, I can’t leave out two transformative books in my journey: The Holy Bible & Marianne Wiliamson’s “A Woman’s Worth”. These books deepened my understanding of my faith and inspired me to integrate it more holistically into all aspects of my life. They’ve been instrumental in shaping the way I approach my blog, promoting a lifestyle of mindfulness, compassion, and spiritual growth.

So, while my name may be the one attached to the blog, it truly is the product of a loving, supportive, and engaged community. The credit for its success belongs to all who have contributed to it, directly and indirectly. Their influence is woven into the fabric of this blog, and for that, I am immensely grateful.
