Meet Emily Garcia & Kasey Clark | Podcast Co-Hosts

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Garcia & Kasey Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emily Garcia &, how does your business help the community?
SoulStirred was created with the purpose of facilitating a sense of belonging, understanding, and hope for people navigating life’s struggles. Through their podcast, co-hosts Emily Garcia and Kasey Clark share their own vulnerabilities and growth, alongside stories from their guests who have also overcome and grown from their own personal challenges. Emily & Kasey believe that by openly discussing experiences that may feel isolating—such as grief & loss, mental health challenges, identity shifts, or moments of personal failure—they can help people feel less alone. Their goal is to create a space where listeners feel seen, understood, and inspired to embrace their own paths of healing and growth.
At its core, SoulStirred serves as a reminder that everyone has wisdom and the ability to grow, even in the hardest of times. They aim to provide insights and practical lessons to help listeners confront their own challenges, knowing that others have walked similar paths. In this way, their podcast creates a ripple effect of empathy, resilience, and connection, contributing positively to the mental and emotional well-being of their listeners and their communities.

What should our readers know about your business?
SoulStirred: Stories of Growth & The Human Experience began in January 2024, sparked by a shared passion for creating a space where people could feel understood, inspired, and connected. Co-hosts Emily Garcia and Kasey Clark had been journaling in “I Wonder” notebooks, dreaming of new ways to contribute positively to the world. Over months of reflection, they realized that a podcast could be the perfect platform to bring people together through the power of storytelling. From there, SoulStirred was born, with a mission to help others feel less alone in their struggles and more hopeful about what they’re capable of overcoming.
Launching a podcast was a bigger challenge than they anticipated, requiring them to master skills in technology, marketing, interviewing, and communicating their message in impactful ways. Yet, their dedication and belief in SoulStirred’s mission has kept them pushing forward. One key to their success has been their remarkable producer, Cristina Schutz, who brings strategic thinking, invaluable guidance, and insights they might never have considered on their own. Her expertise has been instrumental, and they are deeply grateful for her support.
What sets SoulStirred apart is the authenticity and vulnerability that Kasey and Emily bring to every episode. They aren’t afraid to share their own stories and bring on guests who do the same, creating a safe space for discussing topics that can feel overwhelming or lonely. Through every conversation, they aim to remind listeners of the power of resilience and the importance of growth. They want the world to know that SoulStirred is more than a podcast—it’s a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a community where everyone’s story matters.
