Meet Falon Hibler | Canine Massage Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Falon Hibler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Falon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started Canine Massage on my dog after he started getting older and not bouncing back as fast as he normally does. My wife said I should do that professionally. At first I didn’t realize the impact Canine Massage could make. After doing a few months of research we found the Lang Institute for Canine Massage. I fell in love. I completed the 700 hour class hours and hands on and really got to see what difference I could make.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I love dogs, I have since the day I was born. I have a lifetime of experience, I grew up with English mastiff’s all the way to small terriers. I have worked with Law enforcement canines, search and rescue dogs, canine athletes, as well some of the top show dogs in the nation! I’m proud of helping these dogs stay in the best shape both physically and mentally possible. I care about every dog. I have traveled the country working with professionals from all over the country, learning all I can about all breeds. I love to watch their motions, picking out large to small inconsistencies so that I know where to focus my therapies. I love learning and absorbing any knowledge I can to improve my work. I want to bring Canine Massage to the world. I want Canine owners, pet parents, working dog handlers and anyone that loves their dog to know the benefits of what I do and how it can change their dogs lives. I am not a professional dog petter, I am a body works professional that care deeply about our furry companions. It has been challenging at times, I have been in the road, away from my family for over 60 days. Traveling everywhere. From the Royal canine nationals in Orlando Florida, dog shows in Norther Washington. I study hard and work hard so that our canines lives can change.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely hiking and our outdoor activities. Swimming holes I have found in our rivers and dog friendly restaurants locally. There is so many things Colorado has to offer!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I first and foremost have to thank my wife for seeing my potential and pushing me to be the best version of myself. I would like to thank Joann Lang who is the teacher and the wonderful school I attended at the Lang institute for Canine Massage. She has a wonderful program and one of the few schools recognized by a state board of higher education. Finally I would like to thank all of my mentors in the dog show world, the canine trainers, enthusiasts and pet owners around the country who have mentored, stood behind me and let me work with their Canine companions and athletes.
