We had the good fortune of connecting with Galexi Parag and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Galexi, how does your business help the community?
Being an Esthetician is like holding the magic wand of beauty and bliss! Not only does it put a huge smile on my face, but it sprinkles fairy dust on my clients’ lives, too. Every day’s a fresh adventure! One moment, I’m a waxing wizard, the next, I’m a facial specialist banishing acne before a big wedding. And let’s not forget, relaxation is the unsung hero of life-saving! Clients melt into my cozy ergonomic chair, spilling life’s secrets, then dozing off during a dreamy facial massage. If you’re an adult, you know the heavenly miracle of 60 minutes of hush! I’ve even had teary calls from clients with DIY disasters or salon slip-ups. But fear not, I swoop in like a beauty goddess and getting you fixed up for those family photos. Seen it all, fixed it all—just another day in my pink collar career!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I wish having a pink collar job was easy, but girlll it had lots of tears along the way! All totally worth it though. I really set myself apart from other Estheticians because I am there for clients, 100%. I allow kids in my suite, I understand when you are running behind, I offer late night appoitments and you bet I’m available on sundays to get you ready for the week. I do things much differently than everyone else and I think the clients deserve to felt heard and seen. That’s what I needed when I was a client so I vowed to help whenever I had the chance, so here I am. For anyone, managing daily appointments can be tough, and not giving them a chance to make it work is a missed opportunity. So that’s why I work late and weekends.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m wild and fun, but in my free time, I do love sitting on a restaurant patio, enjoying the sun with SPF and a hat, of course. My favorite spot is Avanti in downtown Denver, with its great food variety, drinks, and outdoor seating. I could just spend all day there, and while it seems relaxing, I’ll still be creating content and exploring new skincare products.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m lucky to have a valued circle of industry friends, and I can’t imagine life without their vibrant presence and shared business ideas. It’s a sisterhood where each woman uplifts the others. I truly cherish Jordan Jensen, Kassandra Acosta, Elizabeth Ash, and Ashley Castro—they are angels on my journey.
