Meet Hayley Kremer | Women’s Holistic Health Mentor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Hayley Kremer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hayley, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My business idea was born from my own struggles. Growing up I struggled with body image issues, disordered eating, exercise addiction, and had no idea how to actually care for myself in a way that deeply nourished my body and allowed me to be my healthiest and happiest self. I tried all the “right” things and was obssessed with diet culture. I thought that the smaller my body became the healthier and happier I would be, but I was wrong. So I started my business to help other women not feel so alone on their wellness journies and to truly help women become healthy and happy. There is SO much imformation out there about health that many women feel confused. My job is to make things simlpe, actionable, and deeply transformational. My approach blends science and intuition, helping women reconnect with their bodies, honor their cycles, and create a healthy lifestyle that feels good.

What should our readers know about your business?
While my business idea is still in the earlier stages, I am very excited for what’s to come. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to do something a bit non-traditional with my career, but I did not fully understand how I would create that. I went to college and got a degree in business, mainly because I still had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, and a business degree felt like a safe bet. Once I graduated college, I truly started to embrace my passion for women’s health. I started to read endless books and listen to podcasts. I also have received a few certifications, one with The Institute of Menstrual Health, two from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and even a Corepower Yoga Sculpt certification.
My business idea bloomed from sharing online during my freshman year of college in 2012. I started an Instagram and a blog where I shared my story of eating disorder recovery. I grew that account to over 12K and created a beautiful community to support women. In 2016, I slowly stopped posting on that account and ultimately deleted it, as I wanted to let go of that part of my life. I had outgrown it. I began to focus on other areas of my life, like my career. Going against what I wanted for myself, I started working a traditional corporate 9-5 job. Even though I craved adventure, I was also desiring financial stability. In 2021 is when I decided I wanted to start pursuing my passion of women’s health, and that is when I received my first certification with IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition). Soon after that, I decided I wanted to deepen my knowledge and received a few more certifications, all while working a 9-5. I started a new Instagram account to share my new path and knowledge. Now that I am 30 years old, I am finding myself wanting to go back to university (something I thought would never happen) to get a master’s in nutrition. While that is still in the works, I am so excited to broaden my knowledge and keep learning. While my business is still in the very early stages, and I am trying to figure out what’s next, I know that I am here to help women live healthier lives, and I am excited to see where that takes me.
There have been times when I want to give up and just take the “traditional” path, but I know a part of me will always desire more. There is this quote that goes along the lines of “Choosing not to share your gift not only hurts you but the people who are looking for someone like you”….and that has always stuck with me. There are days, weeks, and months when I have no creativity, but I always come back to it. I allow myself to take breaks, but not give up. Choosing this path is not easy, but it gives meaning to my life and lights me up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a big outdoors gal, so I would take them hiking! Even though it’s a drive, I love Rocky Mountain National Park. I love exploring little mountain towns, finding cute coffee shops, and embracing all our beautiful state has to offer. A concert at Red Rocks would also have to happen! You have not fully lived until you have seen a concert at Red Rocks. Staying in the city, I would take them to Wash Park. Grab a coffee at Wash Perk and maybe even have a little picnic.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The path I have taken in life has been somewhat non-traditional. I have known from a young age that the classic timeline we are supposed to follow in life was not necessarily for me. I have valued experiences more so than stability. With that said, I want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents for always supporting me and encouraging me, even if they didn’t understand what I was doing. A few of my closest and dearest friends, for continuously believing in me and reminding me of what I am capable of. Lastly, all the women who have come before me and have truly made a positive impact on women’s health. Thank you for paving the way and inspiring me to take a stand for what I believe in.
