We had the good fortune of connecting with Henry Nguyen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Henry, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
20 years ago, I always wanted to start a new business where we could interact with customers and make them happy, so I quickly became interested in Boba tea. However, I had very little savings and people had very little interest in Boba tea at the time. Now that Boba is beginning to become popular and we had enough money, we were able to make our own shop. Our initial and current hope is to just make people happy through our tea.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business is so unique and different from others in so many different ways. Two things that sets us apart from others are our delightful drinks and our splendid working team. We spent hours on days working to perfect our drinks, we expect all of our drinks to be perfect to fit our customers needs. On the other hand, our employees are such hardworking young adults, who always look for the little details to make our shop better, without them our business would not run the way it would today. Of course every business has challenges, I just stay focus to what the challenge is and to what we need to improve on. I want to let the world know that you can always count on our employees and drinks to put a smile on your face.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were to visit my area I would take them to, first our shop to get some Boba tea, then to the great outdoors. Colorado is definitely the best outdoor place to visit. St. Mary Glaciers is one of my favorite places to go hiking. Their scenery of the mountains and glaciers are absolutely beautiful. After a long and good hike, I would take them back to my house for some food. I believe home-made food is the best food you can have, especially when it is being made by my mom.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a personal shoutout to Kevin, a dear friend of mine, he helped and guided us through our whole process. Not only that, we have to mention our employees. Our employees shapes our business in so many great ways.
