We had the good fortune of connecting with Idalis Richardson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Idalis, how do you think about risk?
Risk Taking to me is extremely important, it’s one of the major keys to success in my opinion.I look it all as a mental game. You first have to mentally prepare yourself for the risk your going to take, once you have master the mental part, the actual action of risk tasking becomes extremely easy and sometimes you may even find beauty in the risking your comfortable for growth or unknown change. Some of my greatest opportunities came in the form of not being afraid to get out of my comfort zone. There’s beauty in the struggle, embrace it.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
So a lot has change since last time I spoke with voyage back in January. Firstly, we under went a rebrand as a company. No longer going by K.O.N.S multi media group, LLC. We have officially branded our self as The Basik Company LLC, which we mainly specialize in videography/photography, podcast Recording and Custom screen printing for local clothing brand as well as our own “Collection Cloths”. We also recently opened up a creative space called “The Basik Space”,located at 3615 S Tamarac dr, Denver, CO. Now offering monthly memberships for podcaster who are looking for a place to record or even need someone to fully produce your podcast, that’s something we offer here at the basik space, as well green screen and white backgrounds for music videos/ photoshoots.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There so much to do in Denver, I would definitely take them down to rino district, show them all the dope street art. I would also take them a few of my favorite restaurant like “UCHI”.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I first wanna shootout my business partner and Co-CEO Perry Smith. Without Perry’s business knowledge, And extreme resourcefulness we would not have been able to accomplish half the stuff we have done as a company. Perry and I have gradually became close friends as well my right hand man in business. He is someone important to me and I’m proud to call him my friend. I also wanna Shootout everyone I have worked with and who has supported me these past few years. Your appreciated, THANK YOU.
