We had the good fortune of connecting with Inderjit Singh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Inderjit, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind every person’s success is their hard work and how passionate a person is towards their goals. The success of my business is probably because of the love i have for cooking or how fascinated i am for what i do. I can prould say i do what i love the most.This is very important question!! I don’t consider myself successful yet. I am still doing hard work to be there and achieve the ultimate goals of my life one day hopefully soon with waheguru’s (God) blessings.

What should our readers know about your business?
My restaurant Curry Culture which I just open in November 2024. It is an Indian Eatery that specializes in North Indian cuisine. The biggest thing that set apart from others is family experience from where I learnt everything. My dad has been a Indian chef from 1997 to 2023 when he unfortunately passed away.
I feel proud that I open my own restaurant and I know my dad is proud of me that I am following in his foot steps. There are definitely some hurdles in opening any business same way I faced few. I always felt like I had the work part down most people don’t know there’s a whole back end to any business the paper work licensing inspections I think that was the hardest for me. I want people to know in colorado springs that we put love and passion in our food and always give our best to try to make the freshest food, there’s a saying you can’t please everyone but you can always try to ! An that is our goal each and every day !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh that’s very good questions ! I have few favorite restaurants in town including ours. For food I will start with my restaurant Curry Culture, King restaurant Indian kitchen and bar, for some good Italian food we will definitely go Paravicini and there are some good Mexican in town too. For hangout we will go see Garden of God, Pikes Peak and other famous spots in town.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my story of learning cooking and own a business today I would thankfull to two people. These two people played very important role in my story whatever i am today is because of them and I learned everything from these important people in my life, they are my ideal and that is my father (Sardar Bikar Singh Bal) and my brother in law (Amarpal Singh Mand). I will always be very thankfull for their guidance and support in my life.
