We had the good fortune of connecting with Janiece Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Janiece, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the most important factor would be my dedication. I am the only one that can make these dreams come true, and the brand I want. Of course, the success of it reaching a bigger audience and bigger and better things is the clientele that comes in. I love all my clients and the friends and family they refer because they all make my success come true. But, without my dedication to furthering my education on skin, business, and marketing I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t keep pushing. The dedication started with changing my mindset and always thinking positive. You can’t get far if your thoughts are always doubtful and negative. Then it came down to, do I have a set plan for each day, week, month and year? I have learned to make a dedicated time to ensure that I am meeting MY goals. I still have a lot of goals to reach but for my small successes right now, let’s cheers to that!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a licensed esthetician and I offer facials, lash lifts, brow laminations, and waxing. I have always loved makeup and all things beauty. I wanted to become a dermatologist and realized I LOVE the holistic and more fun things about being an esthetician. Being an esthetician has really made my love for learning and being creative really shine. Everyday I am teaching myself about a new treatment, procedure or ingredient. but as well as learning to become a graphic designer. I get lots of comments about how my instagram feed looks or how easy, and professional my site is. I have been in business for a little over a year now and have enjoyed this fun roller coaster of being a small business. Let me say it has not been easy, and I will continue to have bumps in the road. I offer my services to those that enjoy beauty; I really encourage all to love their skin by performing treatments to boost their confidence. I love making everyone feel beautiful and that is my goal because self-love and self-care is essential to being a happy person! For those that have issues with acne or dark spots know those are treatable, you just have to learn how you can slowly prevent. Even for anyone wanting to shorten their morning routine, a lash lift will help curl your lashes without pulling out your eyelash curler. I to have learned that if I become happy with who I am, in my own skin, then I’m happy with the outlook on life. I continue everyday to use my skincare products to prevent acne and dark spots as well as performing eyebrow laminations on myself to give myself that full natural brow look I want. I only want to help make your life easier, happier and make you feel beautiful everyday.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Mom! Not only has she encouraged me to follow my dreams, but she has also truly pushed me to do more and more every day. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t get a small push of encouragement and compliment from her. She is my biggest fan and I truly couldn’t be here without her support and love. She is literally the best and I will never thank her enough for the things she has done for me to get this far. I appreciate her wise words of encouragement to always reach higher and dream big, because without that, I would still be working a job a that made me dream of this life. I know she sees things in me that I don’t and for that I strive harder and harder. Thank you mom for being such an incredible supporter, I hope you know how much I look up to you and your words of wisdom!
