We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeri Lech and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeri, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of Intentional Aesthetics and Wellness lies within the culture and relationship we build with our patients. I opened my aesthetics and wellness business with 22 years of acute care nursing experience and in the aftermath of COVID. The importance of personalized care and patient connection was given a renewed sense of value and appreciation. Therefore, the time and attention to building patient relationships was intentionally engrained in the culture and remains one of many factors to our success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I grew up in rural Nebraska and knew from a very early age I wanted to be a nurse. I worked as a CNA after graduating from high school in 1991 and started pre-nursing classes at the University of Nebraska-Omaha while also playing on the volleyball team. My education plan took a bit of a detour in 1994 after moving to St. Louis, but my desire and passion for nursing never changed. I graduated in 1997 as a Registered Nurse and shortly after moved to Colorado. I went on to obtain my Master in Nursing from the University of Colorado in 2015. I’ve spent the majority of my nursing career in high-risk obstetrics and women’s health, but found aesthetics to complement my natural love for design and symmetry, while also respecting the complexity of anatomy and physiology.

As I ventured further into aesthetics, I found myself struggling with my “why” and feeling insecure and almost embarrassed to tell friends and family about my new career path. Although caring for women throughout the lifespan was an integral part of my master’s education, I don’t remember Botox and Fillers ever being discussed. I am mostly kidding, but what I can tell you with absolute certainty, is the therapeutic benefit to looking and feeling your best is a real and powerful outcome of a customized treatment plan. After witnessing the positive benefits of treatment from some of my dearest high school friends, I believed I could build a meaningful career in aesthetics and wellness.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When my family and friends visit, I love going to the mountains or just staying home and enjoying local Parker restaurants like West Main Taproom & shops like Niche & Co. I always make sure to check local sporting events like the Rockies, live music at Red Rocks or Fiddlers Green, or simply enjoying the local Farmer’s Market that opens from May through September on mainstreet in Parker.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Building a business is hard and even grueling at times. I experienced many moments of self doubt, exhaustion, and honestly questioning “what the heck am I doing??” In those difficult moments, I am grateful and humbled by the support of my husband of 29 years, Patrick Lech. His endless list of responsibilities include water boy, waste management, technical support, handyman, emotional support and the list goes on and on. I would love to give a shoutout to my husband, the Intentional Aesthetics team, and all of my family, friends, and patients that continue to contribute to the success of the practice.
