Meet JeriLyn Lee-Julian | Owner of Cloud Magic LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with JeriLyn Lee-Julian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JeriLyn, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Everyone loves a good body lotion, I wanted a lotion that would help for multiple things from my horribly dry feet to pain relief for migraines and sciatica. I created Essential Lotion which consists of a lotion base and 5 essential oils: lemongrass, tea tree, lavender, peppermint, and frankincense. I started using this lotion on myself and started giving it away as gifts to family and friends. After using this lotion as a parting gift at my wedding, wedding guests started to ask where they can purchase the lotion. With the incredible support from my wife and family, in 2021 Cloud Magic LLC was created! With help from my educational experience in aromatherapy, I create homemade custom essential oil products from body lotions to sugar scrubs and even calming playdough!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I strive to know what my customer’s are wanting help with whether it be allergies, anxiety, autism, migraines, sciatica pain or more. We all know life is never easy but with help from plant made products, aka essential oils; life can be easier! I am most proud of the education I’ve received from aromatherapy institutions and excited to further my education in becoming a certified aromatherapist in the future. The road of a small business owner has been challenging yet incredibly fulfilling with the variety of individuals I have helped with my products! A big lesson I’ve learned is there are many entrepreneurs who could be creating the same products as your small business but one must have the drive and the mindset that they created this idea on their own and they must go after their passion to make their dreams a reality!

I want the world to know that, I believe in my products with so much passion that I’m sure I can push past one’s doubts of trying new things or if one has doubts in using essential oils, with my products!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My wife and I LOVE when family and friends come to visit!

We’d start with a hike around Red Rocks Amphitheater as it has amazing breathtaking views and is one of the best concert venues! After enjoying the sunshine and hiking long trails, we’d go cool off at Water World or Boondocks and bring out our inner child with all the excitement!

If there’s animal lovers visiting, I’d take them to Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg to enjoy a bird’s eye view of rescued large animals from tigers and bears to lions and wolves.

Between these adventures we’d enjoy amazing food from any of the 1,000 of food trucks within Colorado and explore amazing breweries!

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my incredible family without their love and support I wouldn’t be where I am today! A book that has helped me to grow as a person and business owner is Untethered Soul by Michael Singer.
