Meet John Flynn

We had the good fortune of connecting with John Flynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi John, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Creating something for Colorado by locals for locals without it just being a simple tye die.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is about creating what I wish existed—raw, bold, and personal. I started with clothing design, driven by a need to express what words couldn’t. Being an artist in other avenues pushed me to create. The path wasn’t easy, but the struggle sharpened my vision. What sets me apart is that everything I make comes from instinct, not trend. My brand is a reflection of that—real, focused, and built to last.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Day 2 – Art, Ink, & Energy

• Visit RiNo Art District to see walls dripping in murals and grab inspo.

• Sloans lets yo get some steps in.

• Final breakfast at Just BE Kitchen – not just food, but soul fuel.
• Denver Botanic Gardens.
• Reflect, share creative visions, and maybe plan the next collab or trip.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to the real ones. Support comes in a lot of different forms but the ones who truly helped really made it possible. My good friend Eric has always been there for me in any artistic avenue I’ve taken. Without him none of my art would be available. My lady Sarah who pushes me to be the best version of myself.
