Meet José Y Mamen Pérez Y Martín | Administrative and travel enthusiasts

We had the good fortune of connecting with José Y Mamen Pérez Y Martín and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi José y Mamen, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It is really our hobby, we invest for the pleasure of living, traveling, getting to know, learning… At the moment, unfortunately, we don’t make a living out of it, although we would love to.
At the end of the day we are creators of travel content to advise, to guide people, so that when a tourist goes to another city nothing is left out.
Our friends and family told us that we had to share this information, so that’s what encouraged us to start.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
After our respective divorces, after a few years we met and discovered that we shared children of the same age and sex, a passion for skating and above all, a passion for traveling. Not having much time because the children do not have total autonomy (public transport is terrible where we live), the little time we have is dedicated to travel when our savings allow it. For each trip, Jose prepares guides with all kinds of details to know the most emblematic points of the place and its history (very summarized).
But of course, we can’t live traveling at the moment and we combine it with our jobs, we are both administrative, and leisure, Jose does Muai Thai and Mamen does ballet and volleyball.
So it is complicated to be able to live traveling as we would like but at least, we live fighting daily to not stop traveling.
Sometimes, we have gotten into dangerous places and so far we have come out of it safely, but not on purpose, it has been to find out when we have finished planning for the day. We would love to be able to transmit to people our enthusiasm and care when trying to advise them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The first thing I tell my friends is to visit our website www.envidiaviajeradelamala.com and there you will find the itinerary from the moment you leave the airport to the end of your last day in that wonderful place.
On the pages you can download complete guides, maps that take you directly to the mobile browser, we indicate what we liked the most or least or what you need to travel. We always speak from our experience and tastes, they do not have to be shared and we perfectly understand that they are not shared.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This would not be possible without the others, with our complications but with our illusions, with our limited time but taken advantage of. For you and for me. IMY EVM
