We had the good fortune of connecting with Kathy Sietos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kathy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I decided to create Green Light Reiki from a deep desire to help others access their own inner healing, wisdom and knowledge. We are often so incredibly disconnected from our own inner clarity and peace and when space is held for us to quiet down we can start remembering who we really are on a soul level.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being able to hold space for others through energy work is an opportunity I will never take for granted. I get to witness true growth, vulnerability and resilience through my clients. I worked really hard to build Green Light Reiki and with the expertise of the beautiful practitioners who work alongside me who are representing my brand we are able to create a container for real soul level change for every single person who walks through our doors. There is no better feeling than seeing people leave the studio with a fresh perspective and true peace radiating through them after any healing experience that we offer in our sacred space

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would highly recommend anyone that visits to spend time in our beautiful mountains for a hike, a soak in a natural hot spring and some quiet time alone to ground into the earth. Nature is a true sanctuary where the mind can heal. Colorado is a special place and our access to nature and her gifts are limitless and completely free.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am lucky to have two beautiful daughters who show me the magic of life daily. I get to live through their eyes and see how divine and spectacular each moment is that I often for granted when I’m living the daily grind. The honest and integrity that is the core essence of my girls shows me constantly what it means to truly live in the moment and how to show up fully for others
