We had the good fortune of connecting with Ken Beitel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ken, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Have you ever had a great friend that loves taking you out on the town and introducing you to a million new friends in one awesome night? That’s WildFlower Club – Colorado’s hottest new friends and romance app right there!

WildFlower allows people to meet at the locations and events they love to hang out at – be it the patio of Improper City or attending a concert at the Bluebird. There’s amazing people everywhere – WildFlower is a magic connector that lets us know who else is open to saying hello in real-time.

Meeting new people is one of the best things in life and WildFlower makes it easy. RSVPing to an event on WildFlower allows others to say hello before or during the show. Or you can literally go out to RINO or LODO and glance at the WildFlower map to see who else is out on the town or at the same location as you and wanting to say hello. New in town, recently single or people looking to build a community of friends – people love the in-person appeal of WildFlower and being able to meet right away.

WildFlower Fave Places are also a blast. We have people setting places like Keystone and Eldora as their favorites and having some of the best ski dates of their lives. WildFlower lets people who have enjoyed the same neighborhood bar for a year to meet and have a great conversation over drinks – WildFlower is just plain fun!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Perhaps one of the things we’re most proud of at WildFlower is how our partner locations saw the potential of using technology to connect people in real-time. People like Bailey Neppl at the Rayback Collective in Boulder and Brienna Martin at Improper City in RINO listened pretty patiently to the story of WildFlower and our dream of connecting hundreds of awesome people every night. I remember our Community Engagement associate Gabby Gibson and myself meeting with Brienna for the first time to discuss WildFlower Wednesdays at Improper City like it was yesterday. And now the dream is real – every week people are coming together and using WildFlower to meet each other at both Improper City and places all across Denver. That faith of our partner locations in creating a world where it is easy to meet new people has been outstanding!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have deep admiration for people who see the contrast in their lives and take action to create what they want. We’ve all been there at one time or another – lonely or super busy at work and all of a sudden we’re short on friends or realize that wow – it would be great to go out with someone charming tonight. So I am a huge fan of all the WildFlower users in Denver who are checking out WildFlower for the first time and meeting great new people. Creating what we want in our lives can actually be pretty fun.
