We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristin Boyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristin, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
In the immortal words of Zig Ziglar, “You can have everything you want if you help enough other people get what they want”. When we shifted our business model to truly focus on customer service and providing help and guidance our entire culture and client base shifted. I have learned the value of taking time to pause, have a conversation, create a relationship, and do what is best for all parties involved. Getting back to basics has been a game changer for my company and my career.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are an HOA Management company. What sets us apart from our competitors is our very sincere desire to build long term, trusted, relationships. We have learned a lot in the years that we have been managing associations, and we have taken that knowledge and experience and created new ways of doing business. You won’t find the “status quo” in this office. We are constantly striving to reach new heights and new goals, and to make ourselves better in the process.

We are also a solid mid range company, which means we offer the tools and support that the large companies have, but we still maintain a mom and pop customer service approach.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love everything about Colorado. I would take my friend up to Loveland to explore and roam around the shops and restaurants. I live in Erie so I would be doing a lot of eating and shopping in Old Town. My offices are in Lafayette and Northglenn, so I would be spending time on Public Road in Lafayette. I also love local farms and ranches, so I would be visiting those and introducing my friend to my animal friends. Finally, who doesn’t love a trip to Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My life coach Brooks Hollan has helped me to get clear and to really focus on what I want and how I am going to get there. Ryan Cox of Edward Jones has helped me get my financial house in order and helped me create a long term plan.
Tim Jones my CPA has helped me feel in control and organized.
Zig Ziglar always helps me stay positive and focused.
All of my great clients and friends have helped keep me motivated and hopeful, even in the worst moments.
My AWESOME staff, I literally could not do any of this without them.
