We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Wolfgang and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laura, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I love photography, so it came naturally when I started my business when I had friends and family asking for pictures. I love being challenged, so when I looked at my business I realized it was a big challenge for me to not only grow a business but to grow in my skills as a photographer, as well. So I continued to push myself to learn more about business and photography and seek success.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a wedding and family photographer based out of Castle Rock, Colorado. I love that I get to do what I do! I’ve worked hard over the years (and continue to work hard) to constantly be growing and getting better at my craft. I love to make the experience my clients have a fun, stress-free time where they come away not only having fun, but with timeless images that capture their wedding day or families just as they are. You’ll never regret getting portraits captured of those you love the most!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would show them around to a few my favorite restaurants, for sure. And if we had the time we’d take a mini road trip up into the mountains to see the sites and fill our day with hiking some gorgeous views of the city!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband and family and their faithful support of my business And to talented and skilled educators that made growing my photography skills and business knowledge possible: Amy and Jordan Photography, Katelyn James Photography, and Christy Wright’s business education
