We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Weglarz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauren, what matters most to you?
The value/principle that matters the most to me is respect. At the end of the day we are all human, we don’t know the situation of others and what they are going through. A huge reason I do what I do is to create an experience for someone that makes them feel special, that makes them feel happy! It’s a little reminder in life that there are good things constantly happening around us.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The business is Full Bloom Events, we are a Colorado wedding coordinating business.
It was quite the journey to get here to be the thriving business we are. For my story personally it was a wild ride with ups and downs and a lot of lessons learned.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned overtime is that you don’t have to do it alone. I thought one of the only ways to feel fulfilled and successful was to be hyper independent and work my way up all alone. As I realized more about why I was in the job I was I discovered that having a support system and resources that you trust and can turn to is what really allows you to thrive!
That is ultimately how Full Bloom Events came to be what it is now! Two friends who can do it on their own and do it well but absolutely SHINE when doing it together.
It is a passion project, we do what we do because we genuinely care, not just about the job but about the person we are serving individually.
Everything we do is out of love. That is what I think makes us so strong. We have such a solid foundation, based on our beliefs, that we have built which allows for us to do genuine work and give of an infectious energy!!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Not being from Colorado originally I am always so excited to have people visit because a lot of the time I am experiencing something new as well!
A few go to activities are hiking like Crags Trail or Lovell Gulch, going to cafes like Birdtree cafe, going to get drinks like at Metric Brewery, Mother Muffs, or Ivy Wild, or if it’s nice enough paddle boarding in Rampart!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge shout out to my business partner Mariah! Without her, her support, and her passion our business together would not be possible!
I always say passion attracts passion and when you have two people who come together with the same passion they are unstoppable and that’s exactly what we are!
