We had the good fortune of connecting with Leanne Holitza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leanne, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk-taking is a must if you want to live your best life. By taking risks — calculated, well-thought-out risks — you are stretching yourself and learning new things about what you can, and sometimes can’t, do. By taking risks I have learned how resilient I am, which has allowed me to stretch even further and take more risk. I have learned that the limitations of “I can’t” live mostly inside my own psyche and aren’t even true.
I left a cozy (sort of) corporate career to be something and someone not taught at a career fair or business school. I am an energy healer and own a center for other energy healers to do their work as well. If I wasn’t willing to be seen as weird or unusual, I would have never taken this risk. I would have never owned The Healing Studio either, if I had not had the ability to trust myself enough to try.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am an intuitive wellbeing coach and energy healing practitioner. My goal is to help people who are aware they are energetic beings align to their highest potential through intention and energy clearing. I use my unique ability to see energy and thoughts to help you align with what you want in life. My gift is the ability to see your subconscious connections and help bring them back into consciousness so they can be released. I teach classes and offer group healings to help empaths and energetically sensitive individuals find a way to protect their energy field so they can feel grounded in their own manifestation fields. I am the founder of The Healing Studio where we hold space for other healers to work in our community. We are helping bring a sense of safety and security for those sensitive people who would like alternative ways to overcome their own obstacles.
I started this journey in 2006 and have been offering my services since 2007. It was never easy, but the biggest obstacle was often my own mind and limitations. I began to learn more about the Law of Attraction, self-healing, energy work, and more, which allowed me to clear those limitations and do more with my life. Once I learned to get past those, things just kept happening and happening. More and more signs came to me to keep going in this work. I also have a master’s degree in business and an entrepreneurial spirit, both of which helped me immensely.
I have learned that most of the time what you think is happening, isn’t what is happening. We are not victims of a random universe, but instead, conscious creators in partnership with the universe. I have also learned to surround myself with positive people who can help lift you up into your vision.
I am a cheerleader for the human soul and love to help people feel safe and expansive as they begin to unlock a new way of seeing the world.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We have all kinds of cool things around Broomfield, The Healing Studio being one of them. We have crystal healings, reiki, sound baths, psychic mediums, psychic healers, and so much more. We know some cool people here and I’d like to introduce everyone to all of them!
I don’t do much self-care because we have so much going on and I am busy with the business. If I had more time, float tanks are always fun to take a break in and there are several around the area. I like Healing Waters because it is close and familiar. The Salt Spa in Louisville is often a healing experience. As you can tell I am all about healing.
The surrounding area is beautiful, so a hike is always fun as well as going for a scenic drive.
I have celiac so I love restaurants that cater to me — Teocalli Cocina is 100% gluten-free yumminess.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There has been so much support along the way. I couldn’t have done this without the help of my family, especially my husband who not only helped me with my business, but also held down the fort with our kids while I built my dream. The community I have at The Healing Studio is also amazing — my clients, students, and fellow healers are so expansive with each other. Always lifting each other up and making room for more success. I have very supportive friends I can go to and bounce ideas off of and my angel investor that not only provided capital but the best “you’ve got this” encouragement I could have asked for.
