We had the good fortune of connecting with Meredith Cameron and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meredith, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’m an enormous believer in trusting ourselves and listening to our own messages. It was true for me once that when I would hear my own thoughts or have gut feelings, instead of trusting my own self, I would reach out for external advice to back up my thoughts or even search for proof as to if things were a good idea or not. That way of living really became exhausting as I was always seeking even though the messages were already inside of me. It became clear to me that so many of us haven’t been taught to listen to our messages, let alone trust them. This is when I started offering Akashic Record readings for the public. The Akashic Records are the history of your soul and the insight provided by your Akashic Records is an invitation to growth and connection as to why certain things are happening, why you have certain lessons in your life, or why you have certain traumas and struggles. The story is much bigger, but one day I was in my own Akashic Records and my soul’s messages urged me to make readings available for the public. Of course, my brain wanted to put it on my website first and get everything organized, but instead I trusted what I heard and launched this service for others and it has been the most beautiful experience.

What should our readers know about your business?
About 5 years ago, I created a gloabl yoga retreat business that was run only by me. I traveled the world and visited venues to make sure everything was top notch, as. I am super picky. I wanted the people who invested into me to have a one-of-a-kind experience which also means that I invested in my yoga studies and blended all trainings together to create Yoga Stability; a unique approach to practice that uses our bone structure and geometry of our individual body as measurement tools for our own sets of conditions. I had a major health set back that left me nearly paralyzed and was a clear sign from the universe that I wasn’t meant to keep doing this. But I kept trying, and would take heavy meds and an assistant while traveling but it wasn’t good, nor did it feel good. I experienced a massive hit of grief at the new year and shortly after with Covid, it was clear that I wasn’t meant to travel until I tended to myself. My grief led me to want to connect more to the bigger picture, knowing there is more to what we see. This is when I took the deep dive and started studying the Akashic Records and opening my own Akashic Records. Connecting to myself first is of absolute importance before anything else. I often get really excited about serving others in general, so sitting back and closing my own curtains for months was a bit counter intuitive for me. I had a lot of breakthroughs but also many dark nights of the soul. Along the way, I’ve learned the very big lesson of the ego mind that external recognition isn’t the goal. Internal recognition is now where I reside and that has created so much peace within the parameters of my business and how it operates.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in the high Rockies so we would def be immersing ourselves into nature, visiting local food trucks and small cozy coffee shops. You can ski at Winter Park Resort or get a massage from amazing locals, visit Hot Sulphur. Hot Springs for a soak and hike, bike, snowshoe.. depending on the time of year.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband, always, for supporting me in normalizing the paranormal. A dear friend, Jamie Deluccio, astrologist, who pointed out in my own birth chart how I’m suppose to be working with energy.
