We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Waking up early, reading daily, working on self care and surrounding myself with a good support team!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Michael Garcia Media is a social media company that helps small businesses enhance their presence on social media. We focus on local influencer campaigns to help elevate and give brands the most exposure. I am most excited for our recent campaign called the You Are Enough Campaign to help encourage positive self talk into your daily routine. You can check it out here. Starting any business was hard at the beginning because you always have that fear that you can’t and won’t succeed. I have definitely failed numerous times but I think it’s about learning from your failures and not letting them defeat you. What has help me is surrounding myself with a good support system. I surround myself with those who are not only supportive but push me to keep succeeding, and to keep reaching higher!. I want people to know that although my brand offers a variety of services including monthly social media management, Influencer marketing and Small Business Marketing, we encourage positive healthy lifestyles and we want everyone to smile a little more at themselves.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to brunch at Necio Mexican Kitchen because they have the best brunch in Denver! They offer bottomless mimosa and margaritas for $18 and make delicious french toast. I would also treat them to a mani/pedi at Tootsies Nail Shoppe! I would tell them to follow @sosarasaw because she is one of the best humans in Denver! If they’re looking for somewhere social to hang out and grab a drink I would recommend Number Thirty- Eight located in the Rino Art District.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have had several mentors and they have all impacted me in some way. A book I found that has really helped me change my life and my mindset is called The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
