Meet Miss Zarah | Drag Entertainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Miss Zarah and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Miss Zarah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I think starting your own business can be a great thing. It does take a lot of work, dedication and self motivation.
I think it is good for Drag entertainers to run their drag like a business, I have recently started doing this and I am learning so much and I am also able to do more with my Drag because I’m being more business minded.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a local Drag Entertainer in Denver,CO and and I love it! I’m a high energy fun loving Drag Queen that loves to have a good time. I’m known for splits, kicks and flips as well as serving tight lip sync performances. I have been doing drag for 7 years now and I am very happy with my success in the Denver Drag community. It wasn’t easy getting where I am but I’m very proud of my determination and hard work. One thing I have learned over the past 7 years is you have to go out and make things happen for yourself in this business, you can’t sit around and wait for things to fall in your lap! Drag is one of my passions and I’m very proud of the work I present to the world and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I think Denver has a lot to offer when it comes to finding something to do. I am a city person so you will see me out and about in the Denver Metro area. My favorite Queer bars are Triangle and Xbar. Both bars have a great vibe good food and amazing drinks. The staff is kind and welcoming and the music always gets you in the mood to dance! My favorite restaurants to go to are Stuben’s so delicious! Hilstone is also amazing and my all time favorite is Welton St Café they have incredible soulfood!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank my family and friends for all their love and constant support. I don’t think I would be doing what I’m doing if I didn’t have the incredible support system that I have.
