We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikita Jhaveri and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikita, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
My balance between professional and personal life is constantly shifting. I use to believe that there is this “work-life balance” that was achievable but soon found out that it is about finding your own balance and what works for you. There will be months that work will take precedence, then months that personal will and I have come to accept that!

What should our readers know about your business?
Blush was created to help bridge the gap between Beauty Service Professionals and Clients who are in need of on-location beauty services that are restricted with time and everyday priorities. We offer hair and makeup services for anything from corporate events, weddings, headshots, or even a blowout to get you through the day! Our personal touch is what we are most proud of, we send out thank yous for every referral, we call clients to follow up after every appointment and we will always make sure we exceeded expectations. I think it is fair to say that everyone would love to have an extra 10 minutes in their day, Blush creates the opportunity to have beauty services done wherever you are saving you time and energy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Barcelona RiNo Postino (any of them!)
Sporting event – preferably the Avalanche!
Red Rocks Amphitheater
Hiking in the Mountains (St Marys Glacier is a great one!)

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a huge shoutout to the Women in Business group from the South Metro Chamber. Their guidance and support through me starting this business has helped me get to where I am today. As a working mom, I have always struggled with guilt and that group have women share their stories which has pushed me every time I meet them.
