We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah Inhofer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noah, how do you think about risk?
Risk is absolutely everything because without it, you accomplish very little in life. Before real estate, I was actually a professional mixed martial artist, and I remember vividly how much fear played into that. I was so scared before my first fight that I was shaking in the locker room and could barely keep my thoughts together. But something changed as I walked into the cage. I realized that whether I won or lost the fight, I had already won the battle against fear.

That lesson stayed with me. The tools I learned through MMA taught me how to face fear head-on and understand what it really is. Fear is a response mechanism designed to keep us alive, but in modern life, fear often becomes the thing standing between us and the life we actually want. I truly believe the closer you are to fear, the closer you are to accomplishing your goals.

I’ve carried that mindset into business, marriage, parenting, and life. I’m willing to take risks because I know growth exists on the other side of discomfort.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
One of the things that sets me apart is that I am absolutely relentless when somebody shares their goals with me. Whether it’s buying or selling a home, creating financial freedom, or building a better life for their children, I become deeply invested in helping them achieve it. Seeing other people succeed is genuinely what motivates me. It’s what gets me up early and keeps me working late at night.

At the same time, I think people are drawn to me because there’s no pressure when they talk to me. My brand is “The Real Estate Hippie,” which basically means chill vibes and great homes. I’m not a salesperson with a rehearsed pitch. I genuinely care about people, and I focus on educating them, understanding their goals, and building a clear roadmap to help them get where they want to go.

I’ve always been an entrepreneur. When I was younger, I started a lawn and landscaping company called Lawn Boys. I saw my friends working jobs for minimum wage, and I realized I could make more money walking a lawnmower down the street and creating something for myself. That was really the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey.

From there, I went into professional MMA, then my wife and I opened a CrossFit gym in Waikiki, Hawaii. Ironically, I met the person who introduced me to real estate while out surfing. He showed me the wealth-building power of real estate and how ownership and assets create long-term freedom. Once those curtains were pulled back, everything changed for me. I sold my gym 14 days later, bought my first investment property shortly after that, and I’ve been in real estate ever since.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that failure is unavoidable if you’re trying to achieve greatness. In business, marriage, fitness, competition, and parenting, growth requires failure. The faster you fail, the faster you can solve problems and move forward.

What separates me from a lot of people is that I’m completely okay failing publicly. MMA taught me that. When two people step into a cage, there’s a 50/50 chance somebody loses in front of everyone. That level of vulnerability changes you. Once you’re comfortable taking those kinds of risks, the smaller risks in life and business become much easier.

I believe failure is only dangerous if you stop moving. As long as you’re failing forward, you’re learning, adapting, and becoming stronger.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit for a week, we would absolutely head straight for the Rocky Mountains. We’d go camping, hiking, mountain biking, riding dirt bikes, and just fully enjoying the Colorado lifestyle. We’d grab some good food and some beers along the way, but honestly, the real magic is being out in nature.

Living in Colorado means living around some of the most rugged and beautiful landscapes in the country, and we’re incredibly blessed to have the Rocky Mountains right in our backyard. That would be the first place we’d go and probably the last place we’d leave before the trip ended.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My story has always been deeply tied to the relationship I have with my wife, Greta. She supported me through my professional MMA career, moving to Hawaii and opening a CrossFit gym, and, years later, moving back to the mainland and jumping headfirst into real estate.

She is fearless and fierce, and has always been the one pushing me to chase my goals. Having somebody like that beside you in life is incredibly important because when you’re trying to expand your reality and become a better version of yourself, doubt naturally shows up. You need somebody willing to remind you who you are and encourage you to keep going.

That person has always been Greta, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her support.
