We had the good fortune of connecting with Noelia “Kronopia” Forte and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noelia “Kronopia”, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It’s a funny history to be honest. I have never intended to be a fulltime Content Creator and esport worker. It was 2018 and was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. This was a life changing event, becuase the cause of it all was my formal office job. I had to choose my carrer or my mental health, and that meant also quit on my economic stability too.
As a therapy method, my hobby, which was creating content online, became part of my daily basis. And one day I found myself being for this and being called to work on some esports events.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I first wanted to start on the esport biz, there was something I had to know before hand, being female it’s an odd, and people don’t like it much.
I had to overcome many male chauvinist statements and barriers. People rarely took me seriously and esports was a male jungle. I stood up with many girls with the same dream, and somehow we made an space for us into the industry.
I am surely a fighter, and i am thankful that nowadays girls can prove their talent without having to encounter such horrible this we had to see and tolerate!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well.. sorry to disappoint you here but, I am gamer before anything else and gamers don’t go out. We rarelly know trending places or the best restaurant. A good dinner at home, will be the best 😀
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Everyone who was with my from the very beggining. My life partner Walter “tasher” who always pushed me foward. My family being ther as an emotional support and all those who helped me along the way, teaching me new things and pointing me in the right direction.
