We had the good fortune of connecting with Nyle Biondi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nyle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
With my latest business, my business partner and I saw a need and knew that we could fill it. We have both healed from chronic pain and health conditions, but finding the path to do so, was difficult. We sifted through a lot of different podcasts, books, and websites, not to mention all of the doctors visits we had both attended before we found our way. We want other people to 1. know that it is very very possible to heal from chronic pain and conditions and to 2. make it accessible and relatively easy for people to do so. Our online program is the program we wish we would have had when we began our journeys. Our program has three parts: an online video course, an online community of support and weekly live calls, and individualized support as needed.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am a psychotherapist by trade and have co-created an online program to help people heal from chronic pain and symptoms. Most chronic pain programs are designed to help people cope with chronic pain, whereas our program is designed to teach people how to HEAL and relieve symptoms.

The very hardest part is convincing people that healing is possible. Unfortunately, most of us have been taught the complete wrong thing about what chronic pain is and why it develops. Without the correct understanding, it is nearly impossible to heal. All pain is generated by the brain in response to something happening in the body. In the case of chronic pain, the brain has misinterpreted something happening in the body. This results in the danger signal of pain being sent in error, or at too high of a volume for what is happening.

Our course explains the neuroscience behind chronic pain and conditions and takes people through a process to help them heal completely. My co-creator and I have both healed from our own chronic pain and conditions and are very eager to share this work with the world. We’ve created a self-directed video course to make the information accessible to people at a reasonable cost.

One of the lessons I have learned through this process is non-attachment. We have spent four years developing the course and have completely revamped it several times. Our goal has been to make the course easy to understand and with useful, practical tools and practices that people can begin implementing immediately. This has meant working and reworking material to figure out what landed best for people taking the course. We continue to add and edit materials as we receive feedback from people taking the course.

We are also available for individualized support in addition to our online community. One thing my business partner and I have both learned through our own healing journeys, is that healing happens on a deeper level with connection and support. That was the impetus behind adding the community component as well as individualized support. While our video course does have the necessary information and tools that people will need to heal, some will also benefit from additional support and connection in their journeys.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
An ideal weekend would probably include brunch at the West Side Tavern in Longmont, followed by a hike at the Button Rock Trail in Lyons or at Rocky Mountain National Park. We’d probably stop in Lyons or Estes Park along the way to see the towns and maybe grab a bite to eat on the way back. Depending on the time of year, camping or rafting might make it onto the schedule. I’m not much of a city/nightlife guy though so they would need to ask someone else for those sorts of recommendations.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Olivia McDaniel first introduced me to a podcast on healing chronic pain, which has changed my life and the trajectory of my career. Olivia has, twice now, introduced me to the right information at the exact right time that I needed it. She’s intuitive, knowledgeable and super smart.
