Hi Paige Farrington and Ashlyn Prendergast, how does your business help the community?

Love is a synonym for your human potential, thus Love Ignites Peace is a new paradigm to help you overcome the limitations that have kept you from being able to unconditionally love yourself and others. It is a new approach for your individual evolution, and someday, we hope for the evolution of our collective human community. Living as love sounds easy, but it is much more challenging when you are confronted and then have to respond with love-in-action. At Love Ignites Peace we are committed to empowering you in overcoming the limitations that have kept you afraid, unhappy, disempowered, reactive, and feeling limited in any way–all things not-love. To transform these limitations to love, we give you both the deeper (think inner healing work) and daily (think resources, tips, and tricks to navigate day to day life) tools to raise your vibration so that you can experience and give body, mind, and soul that all things good energy life has to offer, aka love. Our weekly podcast, individual coaching, and personalized sessions with our Frēq MD’s (we lightheartedly call them frequency doctors) are just a few of the ways we support people on their journey. No matter where you think you are with your self-awareness, there is always more to be learned so that you can love yourself and others more. Change your vibe, change your life. It is our mission to take the new paradigm of Love Ignites Peace to the world so that one person at a time it can ultimately become the model for how our collective human community interacts within themselves and each other.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

Paige: As someone who now promotes love, peace, and human potential, you might be surprised to know that for 30 years my career was in the transportation and energy sector. In 2002, I cut my teeth as an entrepreneur, when my husband and I started our own business. Little did I know that 6 years later the Universe would give me a message that would totally change the trajectory of my life. On a beautiful summer Colorado morning, out of thin air, the words Love Ignites Peace were tattooed in my conscious mind (read the full story in Love Ignites Peace: Our Next Evolution available on Amazon early fall 2023). Those words caused me to grow in ways I could have never predicted. It is my hope that when those words are planted with intention in other people’s minds and hearts they will nurture their ability to grow in self-awareness and ultimately love. In 2017, I retired from our small business and now I dedicate my resources to bringing the message, Love Ignites Peace, to the world.
Ashlyn: My greatest desire is to live a heart-centered life that shines light and love into the world. I call it living heart wide open. From working at Make-A-Wish, to The Peace Corps, to the American Red Cross, to teaching English in Thailand, I have found that it is through helping others shine their light and recognizing their brilliance, that I can best help the world live heart wide open. I believe that living the Love Ignites Peace lifestyle can help individuals radiate their light a 1000 times over, thus creating a chain reaction that can unify the world. My professional career since graduating from the University of San Diego in 2018 has been doing marketing for small start-up companies. When my mom asked me to partner with her, I could not wait to put all that I had learned to work in service of others. I believe if you truly want to change the world, you first have to heal, evolve, and grow yourself; I feel it is the greatest privilege to be doing this work through Love Ignites Peace.

It is our intent to make the words Love Ignites Peace our lifestyle, even in business. For us, this means we are committed to operating our business differently. We intend to make a profit to be reinvested, but our mission is not profit based; it’s people base. At Love Ignites Peace the human being comes first. Our decisions are based on what is in the highest good for all involved. We believe there is no better investment than investing in our human potential. Launching Love Ignites Peace is a leap of faith and a dare to try a new approach. Interestingly enough, being a heart based company with a message of love and peace has led to its challenges. Love can be confused with too much self-giving, entitlement, and self-sacrifice. At Love Ignites Peace we’ve had to learn how to stand in our power, set boundaries, and offer kindness and compassion, but not at the expense of the company or ourselves. We have a book launching, our podcast growing, and a long list of people interested in personal coaching. Has it been a challenge to create a business that is based on the vast concept of love? Yes! But, bringing this new approach, Love Ignites Peace, to our daily lives and the world is what we know beyond any doubts that we are meant to do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So many of our cherished memories and best times happen around the table, so we can go no further without recommending our favorite places to eat in Denver!

Dinner:

Linger: Delicious shared plates, fresh cocktails, and a wonderful rooftop in the summer
El Five: Spanish food, the most incredible cocktails, a good vibe no matter the time of day, and amazing city views in both the summer and winter
Bigsby Folly: Two words: Delicious. Wine. Bonus: cool industrial meets glam atmosphere and very good food

Lunch:

Just Be: Healthy, fresh, gluten free, allergy friendly, really yummy

Breakfast:

Snooze at Union Station: We know this is overdone for some, but if you haven’t been here before it’s a must… Our out of town guests always ask to go and they have delicious gluten free pancakes to boot

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are too many people and too many books to individually recognize for helping us on this journey. It takes a village and we’ve been encouraged every step of the way by supportive family and friends. Our relationships have been our greatest teachers by surreptitiously coaching us how to become more self-aware and love ourselves and others bigger, louder, and more unconditionally. They have also been the voices of support that high-fived us for our wins and have been there to love us when we’ve had to learn from our mistakes. Starting a business called Love Ignites Peace is completely out of the ordinary. We don’t fit into any business paradigm. We operate in flow versus force, we check in with divine guidance, we follow our hearts and intuition over our heads. This has been a wild leap of faith and to all those who have been a part of bringing Love Ignites Peace to life and to all of our podcast listeners and supporters thank you for encouraging us as we dare to do something new and different.
