We had the good fortune of connecting with Prawin Subrajith S and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Prawin Subrajith, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.”

This is one of the nicest I’ve come across thus far. Life is painful, and failure is inevitable. A particularly bad day in one’s life crosses one’s path. But that doesn’t mean I should sit and cry; I know that even if today is the worst day of my life, tomorrow will be better. Failure comes in the form of teaching us something, so take use of it. This knowledge will come in handy at some point in your life. You have a limited time on this planet; if you squander it sobbing, you will miss out on something valuable. As a result, it is always preferable to focus on the positive parts of life and smile.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I gave up the notion that I should be cautious about expressing my ideas and publicising my positions on various matters a long time ago. Although I may appear insensitive, I feel that people might get along better if they didn’t filter what they wanted to say into something more pleasant. It’s regressive to think of honesty as a bad thing, because all that padding makes it difficult to be critical of others and yourself.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m from Coimbatore from TamilNadu, India. Coimbatore is a major business center with well-organized health care institutions, schools, colleges, engineering firms, textile industries, and an automobile spare parts manufacturing industry. It is located on the banks of the Noyyal River and thus has a pleasant climate. It is a fantastic tourist attraction with temples and shrines to holy creatures, as well as attractive amusement parks, botanical gardens, and close lying hill stations, among other things.

Textiles and jewelry are well-known here. Cotton clothing, hosiery, khadi, sarees, and ethnic wear are all popular items to purchase. It is also a major industrial hub for the automobile, agricultural, and engineering industries.

Coimbatore, dubbed the “Manchester of South India” or the “Textile Capital of South India,” is known for its textiles. RS Puram, Cross-Cut Road, and the Town Hall Area are the three primary markets in this city.

Though Coimbatore is known for being an industrial city, it is also becoming a famous tourist destination in Tamil Nadu. Throughout the year, a large number of foreign and domestic tourists visit this location.

This location has not only capitalised on traditional tourist attractions like the Nilgiri Hills, Black Thunder Theme Park, Dhyanalinga Temple, Kovai Kondattam, Siruvani waterfalls, and Monkey Falls, but has also promoted eco-tourism by involving the local tribal population.

If you want to sample local foods, Mysorepa, Halwa, Dosa, Idli, Biryani, Vada Sambhar, Katti Paruppu, Vendakkai Poriyal, Thengai Chutney, Pongal, and Avarakkai Kootu are among the most popular options. On banana leaves, traditional foods are served steaming hot. Apart from Annapoorna and Gowrishankar, additional vegetarian restaurants include Park Inn, Gayathri, Annalakshmi, Sugam, Aryas, People’s Park, Abirami, RHR, and many others.

Aside from Coimbatore’s traditional delights, you’ll find excellent North Indian and Chinese meals here. Cloud 9, Subbu Mess, Rayappas, Hong Kong, Anjali, Peking, Thalappakattu, and others are some of the greatest non-vegetarian restaurants in the city.

Dessert is always a must-have for any full-course dinner. Sweet Ragi Adai, Bread Halwa, Cucumber Pineapple Salad, Rava Vadai, Banana Halwa, Coconut Milk Payasam, Kuzhi Paniyaram, Vella Seedai, and Sesame Seeds Ladoo are all must-trys in Coimbatore. Mysorepa is a popular traditional sweet in this region. Nilgiris, Annapoorna, Anandha Bhavan, KRS Bakery, Sri Krishna Sweets, and Adayar Delhiwala are just a few of the famous places to go for the greatest sweets in town.

These would make the trip complete.
