We had the good fortune of connecting with Priscilla Negreanu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Priscilla, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Before I started my Business Development firm, I sold advertising for two Fortune 500 Companies including Comcast Spotlight and Tribune Media (FOX31 and CH2), which really helped me expand my sales and marketing skills, two skills pivotal to any business. My passion for working one-on-one with clients and creating unique advertising campaigns to help grow their business and build connections within the community became a big focus of mine at these companies. However, sales and marketing tools, including media advertising solutions, continue to evolve and going on my own meant I could provide a more holistic approach to our clients’ marketing efforts.
Initially, when I started my business, I searched for opportunities that would allow me to put my skills to work. I made the decision to not spend money on my brand, a website, office space, etc. I needed to prove that I could help businesses grow their network and revenue before I spent money I didn’t have. I think this was one of the best decisions I could have made at the time. I’ve seen many companies fail within the first year because they spend time and money on their company, instead of focusing on creating cash flow.
This process may not work for every business, but it worked well for me. Choosing this route also allowed me to fully understand what businesses need today and how I could provide value and then build a brand around what we do best!
What should our readers know about your business?
If there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my experience, it’s that building a successful business goes beyond making a profit. It’s about caring for the people you work with and being passionate about the work you do. Because let’s face it, the tough days can make you want to throw in the towel… but hey, we’re not quitters here!
I am thrilled to share that my company is rebranding and will soon be unveiled as Powerhouse Partnerships. This change reflects our continuous evolution while staying true to our core values and mission: to create profitable and long-lasting business partnerships for our clients.
Back in 2017, I started this journey with a simple goal in mind: to help businesses effectively market their services and products. My previous experience in selling advertising for renowned media companies gave me the expertise and insight to make a real impact.
Now, after more than six years, I am proud to represent some of the most recognizable companies who continue to see growth and success through our efforts to secure valuable partnerships.
But this is just the beginning. With our rebranding, we are taking a bold step forward to better serve our clients and meet their evolving needs. We are committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends, utilizing cutting-edge strategies, and delivering exceptional results.
Stay tuned for more updates as we unveil our new company name and embark on this thrilling new chapter.
Cheers to meaningful connections!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In my thirties, I decided to follow my passion and start my own company. I’m incredibly lucky to have a loving and supportive family who have always believed in me and pushed me to do great things. When I was growing up, I dreamed of becoming an award-winning actress, and when I was nine years old my dad taught me an important lesson. He told me to write down my dream 100 times, and that simple act of writing my dream down set me on the path to achieving many of my goals.
My mom taught me the importance of branding. I saw how her clients always praised her for her polished appearance and impeccable style when she was at work. That inspired me to understand how crucial it is to build a personal brand and leave a lasting impression.
To me, there’s no secret to success. I believe in following the footsteps of those who have achieved greatness before me. Every person we meet has something valuable to teach us if we’re willing to pay attention. Along my journey, I’ve been lucky to find mentors who have become my guiding lights. One of them is my business coach, Bill Roth. I’ve been meeting with him every month for over ten years, and the principles and knowledge he’s shared with me have helped to build the foundation of my life and business.
I’m dedicated to a lifetime of learning and self-improvement. Lately, I’ve been diving into the Science of Selling and Emotional Intelligence to enhance my skills in those areas. I’m currently engrossed in powerful books like “Never Split the Difference,” “Swim with the Sharks without being Eaten Alive,” and “A Course in Miracles.” I also draw inspiration from incredible women like Marie Forleo and Elana Cardone, who constantly motivate and empower me on my journey.
In conclusion, my success is thanks to the unwavering support of my family, the invaluable lessons from my mentors, and my never-ending pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. Every day, I strive to become the best version of myself, both personally and professionally.
