Meet Rachel McNeill | Life & Leadership Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel McNeill and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachel, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
Of all the things that I do for my daughter, I know that how I am being has the greatest impact on how she sees herself and the world. The choices I make, the ways in which I speak about myself and others, and how I move through the world is what she’s learning from me. So I live my life in a way that’s an authentic expression of who I am and a reflection of my values and deepest desires. My wish for her is that she is able to live her life in a way that’s uniquely true for her and her own desires.
I hope that what she’s learning from watching me is that imperfections and failures are a natural part of growth and gaining wisdom and courage, and that the right choice can also be a really hard choice. I want her to see that one can move through the world with kindness, compassion, and joy, even during the most challenging times, and that above all, she is inherently whole, worthy, and capable of whatever she desires for her own life.

What should our readers know about your business?
My coaching practice, Envisioned Path, was born from my own journey of choosing authenticity over cultural expectations. For years, I found myself caught between doing what looked “right” from the outside and following what felt true on the inside. I had checked all the traditional boxes: successful corporate career, leadership roles across multiple industries. But I felt completely stuck and exhausted, constantly asking myself, “Is this all there is?”
The turning point came when I became a mother. In wanting something different for my daughter, I finally gave myself permission to create something different for myself. That meant leaving a marriage that wasn’t serving either of us, stepping away from traditional career paths, and doing the deep inner work to reconnect with who I authentically am beneath all the conditioning.
What sets my practice apart is that I support women in harnessing the transformative power of life transitions so that they emerge more whole and more connected to their authentic self than ever before. I specialize in working with women who’ve achieved external success but feel internally disconnected, those standing at crossroads wondering which path truly serves them, and leaders who want to integrate authenticity across all aspects of their lives.
My approach moves beyond traditional “work-life balance” toward something I call integrated authenticity, where who you are personally and professionally becomes aligned rather than compartmentalized. I combine my corporate leadership background with holistic practices including neuroscience, somatic awareness, and mindfulness to create transformative experiences both for individuals and organizations.
Is it easy? Absolutely not. Building an authentic business while navigating divorce, single parenting, and my own healing journey is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But every challenge teaches me something I use to support my clients while also making me more whole as a person. The entire experience of walking through fire and choosing authenticity over safety is bringing more joy, abundance, and possibility into my life than I ever imagined possible. The messiness of real transformation has become both my greatest professional asset and my most treasured personal gift. It’s giving me a life that feels completely true to who I am and work that flows naturally from my deepest purpose.
What I’m most excited about is expanding into divorce coaching, helping other women harness the power of this type of deeply challenging transition to emerge more whole than ever before. What I want the world to know is that you don’t have to choose between success and authenticity. You can build a life and career that honors your authentic self and reflects your deepest desires.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend and I share the same travel philosophy: be outside as much as possible, immerse ourselves in everyday local culture, and find the best hidden gem cafes where we can become temporary regulars. She’s an easy guest because we both value that perfect balance of adventure and downtime.
Here are some ideas for how we’d explore Denver together:
Saturday Ritual: Walk to breakfast at Olive & Finch, then browse Cherry Creek Fresh Market for seasonal goodies. Spend the afternoon wandering Cherry Creek North shops like Artisan Center and Max.
Active Morning: Start with a Lagree class at TWST Fitness near DU, then breakfast at The Cookery at Myrtle Hill, followed by a leisurely walk around Wash Park.
Garden Day: Morning walk through Cheesman Park, grab a bite at Secret Garden, then explore the Denver Botanic Gardens. End the day with dinner at Satchel’s on 6th.
Mountain Adventure: Head west for hiking in Golden Gate Canyon State Park (the streamside trails are my favorite in summer!) or Mount Galbraith for a shorter adventure. Stop for late lunch and shopping along Tennyson Street, Vital Root and Miller Lane Mercantile are usual stops.
Personal Favorites: Pilates class at Posture Power Wellness followed by coffee at Aviano. As an added bonus, we’d stop by my friend’s studio for a behind-the-scenes tour, and I’d treat her to one of the most fun undershirts from the brilliant brand, Bored Rebel. End the day with cocktails on the patio at Le Bilboquet because, why not?!
Every day would include plenty of time to just wander, enjoy leisurely meals, and stay open to the unexpected joys that come from not rushing from one thing to the next.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I feel an incredible amount of gratitude for so many amazing people who have supported me throughout my entire life. For a long time, I felt as though in order to be strong, it meant that I should only rely on myself. Fortunately, the circumstances of my life have led me to the truth that the complete opposite is true. I’ve come to know that while each of our journeys is uniquely our own, we’re not meant to walk them alone. The more I’ve embodied that truth, the more my life expands and the richer my life experience and my network of connection and support becomes.
I’ve had the exceptionally good fortune of being born into a family who loves deeply and unconditionally. My parents are especially unique in that they themselves have not stopped growing and expanding into their own potential. They’ve always been and continue to be my biggest supporters, and they model for me what’s possible when you follow your heart and your passions rather than subscribing to the status quo. For their love, support, and their bold examples of living well on your own terms, I am incredibly grateful.
