Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Colorado Springs there are so very many, but here goes. Places to Visit would include “Garden of the Gods” with our cameras, as we both Love photography. We would eat a picnic lunch made by “Garden of the Gods Catering” and stop by for Handmade Chocolate dipped Cannolis from “Mollica’s Italian” on our way Home.

Day 2 would Include a day at “The Broadmoor” for peaceful walking around the pond, maybe a spa session and a little Jewelry & Shoe Shopping at the quaint Shoppes before a bite to eat at
“Ristorante Del Lago” by the fireplace filled with hours of laughter, old stories, and some Champagne.

Then we would go off for a Day Trip to Castle Rock and head to “The Barn” to shop for antiques and Home Decor for our ever changing Homes. We would drink coffee drinks while cruising the streets and eat at “Scileppi’s at The Old Stone” a Family owned Beautiful old Chapel turned Italian Dining experience complete with an espresso and Tiramisu.

Next Day, off to enjoy the Sunday Brunch at The “Cheyenne Mountain Resort” than relax in the lounging chairs enjoying some sparkling water while watching the golfers enjoy the nearby Driving Range and Stunning Views. We would take a nap and get dressed for a night out. This night we would dine at one of my favorite spots, “The Famous Steakhouse” Downtown and would order half the menu from appetizers of Onion Rings to Crab Cakes & Sautéed Spinach to delectable Steaks and of course some Bubbly.

The next day would be filled with meeting of a small group of 40 – 50 something Girlfriends at “The Flying Horse” where we would enjoy their new Lodge and gather round the Beautiful raw edged table near the Bar and overlooking the fireplace to enjoy Mimosas, stories of motherhood, relationships, Business Life, as we are all Entrepreneurs and Dream of our next Vacations away ~ Destinations unkown.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ve had so many Mentors over the years from My Former Spouse, Gary, with whom I shared a Beautiful Life to Fomer Business Partners, Real Esate & Financial Advisors & Attorneys. 38 Years in the Industry in Dallas , Texas and now Colorado Springs, I have hundreds of Important People who have shared their Insights, Life Lessons & just simple good Life advice.
