Hi Robert, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I believe in always ‘leaning forward’—pushing boundaries to achieve everything you are capable of. To me, this mindset is essential for anyone in a leadership role, as it embodies the responsibility to continuously grow, improve, and inspire others to do the same.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started this company on a painter’s hourly wage—a challenging foundation that many in the industry can relate to. To overcome this challenge, I adopted a policy of slow but steady growth. While there were difficult years, especially in the beginning, the more fruitful seasons fueled my motivation to keep going. Achieving business success is all about teamwork; without a strong team, success may already be out of reach. I want RW Professional Painting to be known for empowering its team members, prioritizing their success and the well-being of their families, as a way to continually secure the company’s future.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If someone is visiting our area, I would highly recommend exploring Denver’s vibrant dining scene. Sushi Den in the Pearl District is a top choice for exceptional sushi, while Mac Nation offers unforgettable Colorado-style mac and cheese. A visit to Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a must, not only for its legendary concerts but also for its amazing views and sunrises. For a charming mountain-town experience just minutes away, downtown Morrison offers fantastic local restaurants and a welcoming atmosphere that perfectly captures Colorado’s unique vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the local Christian community and the Church for helping me establish my roots personally when I first came to Denver, giving me the courage to start/develop my business, and providing unwavering support through some of the most challenging years of our growth.
