Meet Scott Pincsak | Owner of Built 4 Ballers LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott Pincsak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Scott, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well, starting your own business is way more of a grind, than it is about the glory. I learned this as a young entrepreneur in my mid-twenties, when I started my own business in Lincoln, NE, owning my own catering business in the Old Historical Haymarket. That is probably why it took me almost another 20 years to go down this road again…not an easy decision. But Brighton, CO, is a very big baseball and softball town as I found out when I moved here in 2013. Teaching and coaching in this community, it was evident that while the town was growing so fast, so was the need for some supplemental training for the vast growing competitive athletes in this community. My thought process was how can we help some of these athletes with some additional training…and do it with a high level of attention to detail, as well as great customer service. This town offers a really good start to get young people involved with baseball and softball, but there seemed to be some lack in the follow through for those competitive young athletes…who were looking for some additional hours in their week to get in some reps in the sport. And so, an indoor training facility for baseball and softball seemed to be what many coaches and parents always talked about starting up in this community, but yet most seemed content with driving the 30-45 minutes away to find their training. Having two young boys in the competitive baseball world, and my wife and I only having a few years left before we can fully retire from teaching, we decided to create our own unique indoor training facility for baseball, softball, and pickleball. And if we could create a unique sports facility to fit this demand…then we knew what the next chapter of our life would be when we retire from teaching.

What should our readers know about your business?
Built 4 Ballers LLC is an indoor sports training facility for baseball, softball, and pickleball. Our facility emphasizes simplicity, efficiency, and attention to detail for your individual or team training needs. Reserve a cage, court, or the facility! What separates us from most indoor sports facilities is how we can transition our flooring day to day for different sports. We can offer full facility rentals for competitive baseball and softball that include field turf flooring with 5 batting cages and equivalent training space of around 4000 square feet for all facets of the game. This space includes all the equipment/training tools you would need for all ages, all levels from youth up to high school/college. Within the same day we can quickly change our sports flooring for a pickleball tournament with 2 regulation courts. In addition, we offer other sports for youth that are more on the recreational side for special events or parties like mini-hoop basketball and wiffle ball games. This design for a relatively small facility space of 4000 sf was not easy, and we went through numerous designs to get our facility to maximize all the wall-to-wall space for all the activities and training we offer. We want our community to know that we focus on attention to detail and great customer service for all the training we offer for our sports. Our focus is to offer a high-end training canvas which can accommodate all levels and all ages of athletes from individual to full teams, from beginners to advanced/competitive athletes. And we want to do it with the old-fashioned style of great customer service all along the way. Our motto at Built 4 Ballers is simple: OUR FACILITY IS NOT THE GLORY…IT’S THE GRIND!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely my family: My wife, Merris. My boys Liam (13) and Miles (12). My mother Linda who is the biggest sports fan I know in Lincoln, NE (Go Big Red). And of course my dad, Bruce (a baseball dude) who passed away unexpectedly during the process of starting up Built 4 Ballers LLC.
