We had the good fortune of connecting with Nina Schulze and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nina, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
The Wholeness Hut helps the community or the world by helping people to heal repeating patterns, behaviors, and unresolved traumas. We know how these things impact an individual- creating sleep issues and health issues- but oftentimes we don’t consider the larger impact on the space surrounding us. When we heal, we’re able to control those pesky triggers that set us off when something makes us angry- when someone posts something on social media, or when someone cuts us off or we cut someone off while driving, when the drive-thru takes too long or long lines in the store. We don’t realize the impact our healing can have on our relationships with other people, our careers, and our health.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is that aside from the Integrative Health Professions degree and the many certifications (Reiki Master Teacher, Huna Kane Practitioner, Kundalini Instructor, Yoga Nidra Instructor, and Past Life Regression Therapist), and that I have been studying with a local Shaman; I have over 13 years of experience of personal healing- so I can relate to how people are thinking and feeling. I always strive to learn more and do better. I’m also very excited to launch my Healing the Past program where I utilize a combination of therapies, including regression therapy. It’s a great program for people looking for a deeper, consistent healing facilitation.

Getting where I am today professionally, has not been easy. The Wholeness Hut was born amidst the pandemic. It’s taken a lot of patience and consistency, getting uncomfortable, and really putting myself out there. There’s been several times where I’ve applied to be a part of a holistic event or an interview or to be a presenter and I think to myself, “What am I getting myself into??” LOL But it’s always worked out and it’s always been great. Sometimes we just need to take that jump and trust that it will all work out!

The most important lesson that I’ve learned along the way is to take care of myself. Self-care is everything! As a healing facilitator, I try to schedule my own personal healing facilitation each week. I meditate daily, I express gratitude twice a day, and I meet with my guides consistently. Of course I’m eating healthy and drinking lots of water, and moving my body daily as well. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and I try to make sure this vessel is regularly cleansed and filled!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would most definitely take them hiking up by Nederland or Allenspark (maybe both since we have a week?), stopping of course afterward to a local spot for some dinner and an after hike beer. Hopefully, I would have some tickets to a good show at Red Rocks- especially one on the full moon. I’d have to give them a session and take them downstairs to Weefles Coffee Shop for some brunch. Knowing my best friend, we would have to have a big homemade dinner night- probably some Veggie Pesto Pasta, with a side salad, focaccia and a little red wine. And of course, I’m always up for whatever they might want to do- hang out downtown or hang out at home.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh there are so many people that deserve credit and recognition for my story! First of all, my husband and my daughter for their love, support, and patience with me. Also to my amazing teachers through Red Rocks Community College, especially my Reiki and Huna Kane Master Anita Boehm for helping me to realize my true gifts. Monica and Scott Bonynge from Harmonious Hearts Healing for helping me to stand in my power and adjusting my crown when needed. And last, but certainly not least, my amazing clients who trust me to work with them.
