We had the good fortune of connecting with Sienna Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sienna, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’ve always had a creative aspect to my personality since i was a little girl. The more i grew so did my creativity. I knew i wanted to share my different ideas with the world. Being creative whether it’s with my makeup, photoshoots, or just any form of art, makes me really happy. I just wanted to do something that made me happy and made me 100% me. Being creative lets me express who i am.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a very shy and reserved person I always have been. But really letting my creativity shine through and show that to the world, has helped me overcome some of my shyness. I now feel more comfortable to truly be myself. I am not afraid to show my creative side anymore. In life there are many challenges and negativities but being creative helps me through all of that. It’s something that truly makes me happy and helps me overcome challenges that are thrown my way. Everyone could do makeup, art, photography, but everyone has their own unique style of it and i think that is something really beautiful. Along the way i’ve learned to just go with the flow, if you make a mistake to roll with it. One of the things about being creative is if there is a mistake i like to keep it, it shows that it’s okay and that something can still be beautiful even with imperfections.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Denver I was born and raised here and still am exploring this city myself. But i’ve seen some incredible places here, had the most amazing food, and have made the best memories. I love breakfast it’s my favorite especially having sweet breakfasts and delicious coffee along side it. One of my favorite breakfast places is syrup they have the most amazing nutella stuffed french toast and i always get a delicious white mocha along side it. Coffee is my favorite part of my day i love trying new coffee shops, Two Rivers is a very cute coffee shop and their Honey Lavendar Vanilla Latte is to die for! If you come to Denver i would say go to Red Rocks should be on your list of things to see it’s absolutely gorgeous! And just a little down the road for there is the cutest breakfast stop i’ve been going to since I was a kid it’s called Country Roadside Cafe, they have something my family always calls what’s in your mashed potatoes? It’s mashed potatoes mixed with different breakfast items I highly recommend the one with Cream cheese, Spinach, ham, and hollandaise sauce! Also while you’re in town checkout Downtown Denver for some cool restaurants with an amazing atmosphere The View House has an amazing view of the city!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family, friends, and my amazing boyfriend are so supportive in what i love to do. Whether it’s giving me an idea for a new look or a photoshoot, they are always there. I want to thank them for always having my back and pushing me to reach for my dreams. They help me grow as a person and as a creator. Without them by my side I wouldn’t be where i am today. Also an extra special shoutout to my boyfriend for always being on board with my crazy creative ideas, and doing them with me. And for always being down for a photoshoot with me and dressing up with me just for fun!
