We had the good fortune of connecting with Stefano Pellegrini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stefano, why did you pursue a creative career?
As soon as I can remember I always been a creative guy. When I was young I used watercolours, and growing up I was sure that i turned up being a comic designer. Then, after the University I become a communication designer and, thanks to my job in the Spirits business I create several bottles for liquors (Disaronno Velvet, Engine, Tia Maria, Zucca…) After the lockdown I decided to change my life and start as a freelance and focus more on myself. For this reason I decided to give more time to my passion: Astrophotography. In the last two years I’ve been around Europe, alone in the night shooting at the stars.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My Mission is to translate what the eyes see and often the camera can’t. Using stacking and combining different exposures, only to reproduce reality in all its art, without fictions and replacements. I dedicate great care to location-scouting with long mountain hikes in search of the perfect spot. I always shot the real night-sky of the subject, planning pictures where the milkyway is co-protagonist of the scene.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Someone that deserves a credit in my story is the CEO of ENGINE gin, that always pushed me to improve myself and find my true potential and my path.
