We had the good fortune of connecting with Steve D. deGuzman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steve D., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own real estate brokerage firm and I became frustrated with the lack of software available to small businesses. I originally intended to stay in the real estate industry but after years of building my own small business solutions, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising, I finally developed a suite of apps that were not only free but super effective in accomplishing my business objectives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a Growth Marketing Company. rēhavaPress provides software as a service to small business owners who have been ignored by the big software companies. Through internal development and economies of scale, we have been able to produce an all in one software program that delivers otherwise unaffordable applications to help small businesses grow their digital footprints.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first take them to Union Station and explore some our local treasures. Then of course we would have to set out to explore some of our Mountain towns and one of my favs is Breckenridge. The small town feel is different than other mountain resort and I like to visit during any season. High on the list is Red Rocks Amphitheater. Our national treasure is certainly one of the most unique things about Denver. They have one of the most underrated music museums in the nation – IMO. And you must of course tour Coors brewing in Golden and eat at Beau Jo’s pizzeria.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wife Stephanie deGuzman. Her words of encourage, help and support have directly impacted our success and direction.
