We had the good fortune of connecting with Wally Iwanciw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wally, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to compliment the burgeoning denim business with a “jean-friendly” “sweat-shirt sweater”!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I produce my own 100% cotton sweater knit fabric, here in the USA.

I wash, then manipulate the fabric and hand dye it in my own exclusive “sky-dye” graphic dye technique.

I also “nu-cycle” my own cutaway fabric into patch work, mosaic panels – “geo-patterning”.

The paneled fabric is then incorporated into our finished garments for an added element of interest of hand work.

When I work with cotton & color, comfort and ease of wear come to mind.

I 1st use the best ingredients (yarn), to lay down the foundation (fabric), for a comfortable/ durable pullover.

Once your skin connects with our work, there is the AHA moment that takes place.

Our “color/design” is inspired by the great outdoors, in our exclusive “sky-dye” graphics.

Best of all, our finished pieces are machine washable and can be placed in the dryer, hence –
“functional funware” the merchandise concept,
